i remember years ago you were talking about how ziya was ungrateful and you were struggling to help her see how good she had it. now look at her so happy, excited and thankful about a some book binding stuff.. youre your own worst critic raven! yeah theres things to work on and things you can do better and want to change, but youre clearly doing a great job with ziya even with these struggles youre having. the fact that you still want to do even better just speaks to how seriously you take your mothering and your relationship with your baby. maybe you dont hear it enough, but you are an amazing mother and youre doing a great job

I know because I am a Serviced-Connected Gulf War US Army Veteran and I suffer from PTSD from being gang-raped by 4 of my peers while serving in a war zone, being the soul survivor of 15 that survived a deuce and a half that rolled over a land mine and being snatched out of a Chinook (all in less than 30 days in country)!!!!! I've been following Raven since her first year of college. Btw, I'm 56 years young, black, empty-nester, retired (I retire at 42 years young), mother of 3 son's (35, 31, & 26) and 3 granddaughters (17, 12 & 4). Raven is my RU-vid Daughter and Ziya is my RU-vid Granddaughter . When Raven ghosted us and did not post for a minute a while back, I felt her pain in my spirit and I IMMEDIATELY & CONSISTENTLY started praying for her, her family and her business. I went so far as to have my Church Mother put her on the Intercessory Prayer List at my Church to keep her and her's COVERED IN THE BLOOD OF JESUS!!!!! PRAYER CHANGES THINGS!!!!! IYKYK!!!!! She's back and she's going to be just fine. For ALL of DayOne and DieHard Subscribers, ee knew what was up because we Love her and have watched her grow, mature and blossom into the fine and admirable Woman, Mom, Entrepreneur, Friend, Daughter, Sister that she is. congrats Sadie on the new house! I was just thinking on the last vlog how you said that you want to tone things down a bit, that maybe you could just vlog your daily life, hanging out (so it was nice seeing you go and hang out with your friends) and maybe selecting a number of events you want to do in a year or spacing them out more. I think we're similar in that we love and appreciate details so even if you re-use items you have you'll always find ways to make an 'easy' event less easy lol. and that's great, it shows your thoughtfulness and creativity, but girl keep thinking about your health and well-being. rooting for you!

I can totally relate to trying to do everything. - I’m not quite there with YT, but as it pertains to balancing acting/auditioning, my manager reminded me just last week when I told him how overwhelmed I am at times. “Shenita, you can just say NO.” I have to admit, he has a very good point.
