Ok…about the tea kettle. Get an electric kettle. You know you can boil water on a stove with a pot? 😄 really, when downsizing, every item needs to do double or triple duty. So having 2 tea kettles? Probably not the best choice. 😄✌🏻❤️🌈
oh for sure I can do that on the stove haha. like I said, my only "worry" would be if we're low on propane then I can't boil water. but if we're low on battery bank, then I can't use the electric. So having multiple ways would be the safe bet haha. But I agree, I can't always have double of EVERYTHING!
Girl YES I swear I do not care about the editing mistakes; you're human, this is a long ass video, and it's on brand for you. Not the mistakes lol but not giving a shit about the mistakes and just leaving it up that way, it's very authentic and "this is who I am, take it or leave it." But I'm already soo excited about how long this is lol
As a Brit it will never not baffle me that electric kettles are not a thing in the US. They are so much more efficient than basically any other way of boiling water
The writing it down: For me, it’s because of my ADHD. I have to physically with my body write a list out sometimes it makes my brain stop freaking out about the list and all the things on it. Something about my body actually writing it versus typing it makes me feel like I actually made the list. Although my digital lists are good for when I don’t have paper and I need to not forget the thing before I can get to paper. PLUS crossing things off is so much more satisfying on paper rather than clicking a checkbox on my computer
Ok hi tea girlie here…I LOVE my electric kettle, so much that I also have one in my classroom. I prefer a glass one so I can like see when the water is boiling (bc sometimes I just don’t wait until it’s fully boiled, sue me lol) one feature I WISH mine had though is like a “keep it boiling” setting bc I walk away and mine shuts off at 212, but when I come back 2 mins later bc I got distracted it’s always not hot enough anymore, and I live in this cycle LOL
Off topic, but I just brought home my mini aussie. She is so sassy but even after binge watching your puppy videos and doing research, I still feel like I have no idea what I'm doing. She don't like to listen, but I already knew that. What are the best tips you would give someone like me on bringing home a new puppy?
One thing my finance does that irks me is when clothes end up on the floor right next to the hamper.. why bro you had another 3 inches and they would’ve been in the hamper… 😂
I haven't talked about it in a video sit down style, but I have mentioned it in a few Q&A's on instagram but the TLDR version: 1. I like small shops better (for everything lol) I prefer to support small and local businesses over large corporations any chance I have. 2. I didn't leave Starbucks FOR the small chain. I quit in general just because I didn't need to be there anymore, but then realized after ~6 months that we could use the extra money again to help finish the bus faster so I went to a more local shop that's within walking distance (since I don't have my car anymore) I hope that sheds light on it more :)
I think alexis knows them better lmao. Who won? Im so excited to see the new driver seat for becky! Loved the longer vlogs. It feels so real just seeing your day to day life. 45:05 i used to constantly compare myself to people online and honestly deleting most of my social media was the best decission I've ever made. That doesnt really apply to you since youre a content creator😂 but yea. I kinda get it.
One thing my husband does that irritates me is he will finish his dinner or lunch and lean over from the table and put his plate on the corner of the counter instead of taking it to the sink that’s not that far from the table. 😂
I’m a Brit, we 100% have kettles. Don’t waste your time with stove top, they take an eternity to come to the boil. Go electric. My understanding is that because of US voltage your electric kettles are not as quick as ours, but they’re definitely faster than stove top
Be careful with your kettle and hard water. My parents have to replace theirs every few months because of the mineral build up destroying it. I was not ready to hear myself 😂 Wine night is so mich fun I cant wait for this months ❤
@mariannetuite7411 Thanks for the tip! They do that like monthly or more, but if they miss a month or 2 the kettle rusts and isn't safe to drink from anymore. I think part of it is they use the kettle like 8+ times in a day (it's almost ridiculous lmao)
^ yes, the electric would be faster for sure! Id have to see how much electric it pulls for that amount of time, but it may be more efficient than the stove.
@@MyDriftingDeskhere in the UK they’re incredibly cheap to run. A home without a kettle is unthinkable here. But I have heard from multiple friends that the voltage difference does impact the time it takes in the US. Definitely worth doing some research
Not the missing file 💀 I’m dead. I can’t judge though knowing me I would’ve never even edited this length of a video let alone posted it ❤ ETA: Kohen… those are sweatpants… 😂
