I love how cats have so many different personalities, my cat is a British Shorthair as well and he's not scared of anything, he's almost like a guard dog and gets aggressive if people come to the door. But we never trained him like this, it was just natural. There is a Japanese trend Called “Nekteso,” the art of reading cats’ paws, which determines the cat's personalities - and for Bruce it is spot on - He's the Justice Warrior (also he's named after Robert the Bruce King of Scotland)

For your cat, I would play with her more often. I play with my cats twice a day at least for 10 to 15 mins. They need to be stimulated. The self play toy won’t go far for her. For example, get toys that can get her attention to catch and play. They need to feel like they’re hunting. Always engage her with things. She seems like she’s alone and doesn’t get enough play and bonding time. Cats do also like baby talks with them. You can always get a second cat since you’re out of town a lot. Maybe give snacks in between the plays so she’s encouraged to play more and to be more brave. You can try catnip too. Maybe get rid of toys that she’s also scared of. You have to encourage them to not to be scared. I’m not an expert but had cats all my life. They love to be stimulated especially if they’re indoor cats. If you can put her on a backpack or stroller, you can also take her to walks. One day at a time. 😊 love your channel!❤
