When shorts look pyjama like, I tend to tuck whatever top I'm wearing them with into the shorts, it immediately makes them look more outside appropriate

Don't get the dandruff shampoo - I recently had a similar issue and it's probably more likely to be dry scalp - apparently dandruff is yellow and has a 'smell' according to my hairdresser. T/gel from Neutrogena is doing the trick for me, sadly after 3 weeks of Head & Shoulders use - my hair now needs dyeing again! 😘

For sulfate free minis try The Body Shop - I personally love their haircare and they sell everythijng in travel size as well.

That's not dandruff don't worry it's just a dry scalp, so like getting dry skin on your body you just need to cleanse, soothe and moisturise your scalp. I'd recommend gentle shampoo, a deep conditioning hair mask and of course coconut oil. Coconut oil is one of the few oils that can actually penetrate the shaft of the hair and really moisturise it but it's also fab for dry skin and a dry scalp. Massage it in to your scalp and try to leave it on as long as possible (overnight if you can) and then wash out as you would normally wash and condition your hair. Hope that helps!

Lily, one tablespoon of coconut oil with a few (2-3) drops of tea tree essential oil is really good on dandruff. You just rub on your scalp and leave it for 1/2 hour to 1 hour and then just shampoo it out and condition your hair. I hope this helps if you try it.

"Hippy" is a good thing. You're lucky to have a tall and slim, yet curvy shape. Embrace it :)

It sounds like dry scalp not dandruff , I suffer from that from time to time from dying my hair . The only that that has soothed and took it away was phyto botanical scalp

Take the picnic blanket outfit! Its cute yes still dressy and pulled together and you can also match the top with the leather skirt and the shorts with the black cami

I really recommend Neutrogena T Gel shampoo. It's great if you have an irritated scalp. Would you be able to do a video or blog post about places to eat in LA when you get back? I might be going at the end of the year and your recommendations are always brilliant. Thanks Lily! x

I love the recipe for the raw pad thai. I make this on a regular basis and it tastes amazing!

Lily, coconut oil is also supposed to be good fighting dandruff and obviously it s intesively hydrating at the same time. I usually apply mine all over, let it sink in the hair for 3 hours or so and then wash it. And that itself will give you a super straight shiny hair 😄 good luck!

Hi Lily I loved this video! It's always reassuring to know that I am not the only one who is a procrastinating packer and has a whole love/ hate relationship with the task. On sulphate free shampoos and conditioners reach for Liz Earle. Not only do I think the they will be great for you but I would also use their hair oil/ serum as well. I had the same problem when I got my hair chemically straightened! I went to my dermatologist and she gave me a pretty strong shampoo, it made the dandruff disappear in one wash!

If you want bigger plastic containers you can go to ikea they are great, love your videos btw!! Love from Portugal 💜

the body shop used to have all bio/green shampoo - good too

Holland and Barrett do a nice range of sulphate free shampoos (the brand is Dr. Organic) Also, I think the dandruff/dry scalp issue is a direct result of the keratin treatment. I would honestly think twice about getting these kind of treatments as the chemicals involved are incredibly harsh. I speak from experience! I have naturally very thick, curly hair and for years (like 20 years!!) I straightened my hair every day. I then started getting keratin treatments twice a year. I started to notice my scalp was very, very, dry and itchy and flaky like ALL the time. It felt very sore and tender too. My hair was also really damaged. My new hairdresser told me I'd had a reaction to the chemicals in my keratin treatment and that all the products I was using only irritated it even more. She said I should try to embrace my natural curl and stop the keratin and straightening and use natural sulphate free shampoos. So, I quit the keratin and haven't used any heat on my hair in about 2 years. I also use sulphate and silicone free conditioners. My scalp is a LOT much better. I seriously can't even believe how different my hair is. My curs a lot tighter, shinier and less frizzy. I'd recommend it! Keratin treatments are fine but they are soooo damaging to your hair and scalp. Google 'curly girl method' It'll explain a lot :)

Even smaller than the spiralizer - I use a julienne peeler.

Try adding tea tree oil on your regular shampoo to get rid of dandruff. Hope it helps :)

Kiehl's do sulphate free mini shampoos. But I think making your own minis with your regular shampoo is better anyway.

I truly enjoyed watching you pack. I pack in a similar way. I do admit that I always over pack, but I like to have options. My skin is uber sensitive so I over pack bathroom bag as well...I'd rather have my best stuff incase my skin reacts poorly to travel. I just enjoyed the kinship I felt as I watched you pack!!! On a side note, bc of sensitive skin and scalp I've been experimenting with sulphate free stuff as well. I've been reading about the potential of certain SLS and SLES free products to be very harsh as well as have poor pH balance. Two recent tries you might be interested in: The seaweed bath company shampoo and conditioner or The Honest Company shampoo and conditioner. Both seem to be better than many I've tried at my price range. Only caveat; I am very sensitive to lavender essential oils so the volumizing version of seaweed bath co was a bust. The unscented was much better.

For your scalp (and obv hair), find Rahua shampoo and conditioner.

I do Keratin treatment and I also get dandruff in the beginning. It goes away after a few washes, just wash your hair a few days in a row and it will be gone. I didn't find that it's worth the dandruff shampoo.

Be careful! Some of the keratin treatments (if that is what you are referring to the Brazilian blow dry) contain formaldehyde in them! I use to study cosmetology where it has been discussed amongst the hair community

Lily, if you have any scalp problem, please get the JASON anti-dandruff treatment shampoo, it is amazing. It got rid of my itchy flaky scalp!
