I 100% agreed with you during your car vent. And I also saw that post! JustinLaBoy posts everything 😂 But I think previous generations were big time people pleasers. To them their image was everything. A lot of them would tolerate a lot for the sake of family, friends, a marriage, etc. I think our generation can sometimes take it a littleeee far, but for the most part we’re better at sticking up for ourselves and setting boundaries. We’re okay with calling out of work or forwarding calls if we’re sick or need a break. I think it’s a form of self care / self love to be able to prioritize yourself sometimes. And people have to be okay with not reaching you 24/7! Like on the airplanes, you have to put the oxygen mask on yourself FIRST before you can even deal with anyone else’s
