Georgia! It's okay to be upset and almost grieve the dog you thought you would have. I think the hardest part is knowing how much love they have to give but the world not getting to see. My Ollie is reactive, especially on lead. I've been working 1:1 with a trainer for the past 12 months and it gets so much easier. He'll be okay :)

My Ollie is dog reactive. He's the sweetest cuddle bug when around his people and our cat but if he sees people he doesn't know especially if they have dogs? OH HELL NO. My vet said it's not a failure on me, or Ollie. She's been great and helped me understand that people put pressure on dogs to go everywhere and do everything and it's not realistic for most dogs and that is totally ok. It's super hard though especially when you see people being able to take their dogs out for fun stuff and it's harder when other people think because their dog is friendly and ok, their dog is ok to approach strange dogs (aka mine). Big love to you and Winnie. You guys are doing the best you can

no one truly understands how incredibly difficult and isolating reactivity can be until you experience it yourself ❤ grieving the dog you thought you’ve have is a long process, but eventually, you’ll adjust and find peace. so proud of you for getting a trainer involved, you’ll learn SO much about yourself and Winnie!! 🫶

LOVE the couch! We have the same in the grey colour and it’s life changing. We have a dog and a cat and I wash it once a week. Love that you also got the deep version because it’s literally a single bed. It’s amazing, you won’t regret it!! ❤

Having a reactive dog is so much hard work that not every one understands. Grieving the dog and experience you thought you were going to have is the hardest part of the process. But you're an amazing dog mum who won't give up on him. He's so lucky to have you x

Georgia your house is looking so cosy and lovely already - that sofa is really lovely I'm just not a fan of the white with a dog but you already knew that lol - also it is NOT lazy to have a pod coffee machine especially when it's just for one person - if I lived alone I'd buy a pod machine too and I LOVE nice coffee! I’m two weeks late into watching this but when it comes to the coffee pods, take a photo of a pod you have before you put it in and favourite it in your photos so you can be like “the coffee I liked was this colour”.

With the platter. Set the platter on the bench and have small plates and cocktail napkins. Stand around the bench or grab a few bits and sit whatever people are feeling.

Oh girl I feel you on the reactive dog front!! My previous girl was a breeze could take her anywhere and she loved everyone but my new best bud is soooooo reactive it's hard coz I want to take her everywhere but it's just not fun for either of us 😢

For the weaker strength capsules sometimes I mix in a bit of instant coffee (actually tastes better than it sounds) or just do two shots 🙊🙈

I think the caramel/crème brûlée etc flavours are only half strength. You need to get the normal unflavored pods if you want stronger coffee. They all have a strength rating which you can check online xx

I'm exactly the same with my dog. Since I got him he would always bark and try to attack other dogs and people. Was searching for proper training schools, since I feel like the one I went to before was really bad and I feel like it made him worse! But the other problem right now I don't have time to travel to the school since with work and working late etc. So I know exactly how you feel, wish I could take my dog Toby with me.

I understand the whole reactive dog thing! My dog reacts to other dogs and she’s a staffy which is worse because people think she’s aggressive but she’s so sweet. I made the mistake of taking her to the dog park when she was a pup and this other dog started a fight with her and she’s never been the same! So sad but she’s still amazing with people and certain dogs. I can’t walk her anymore my partner does 😅

Hey Georgia! Having a reactive Dog is so hard! Tom Davies Channel from the Upstate Canine Academy really helped me with my dog! I hope things get better with the new trainer!

My dog isn’t really dog reactive, but he is reactive & is a puller on the lead. I’m super embarrassed to take him out which makes me sad coz I’d love to but at the same time my anxiety goes through the roof. It sucks. I wish I could afford 1 on 1 training but unfortunately I can’t 🥺 it makes it hard to take him out & I hate myself for it, I feel like a complete failure.
