I don't rekindle friendships because for me to say goodbye to a friend, it's always for my own mental health. At this point in life, I have no girlfriends 😢 Let's just say I got tired of being everyones support system, while having none to lean on. Takers are takers. Wish I had friendships that were not so one sided.

Maybe instead of blaming you for their mood they need to take responsibility for their own happiness?🤷🏾♀️
As someone who also began to get worst periods as I got older, there is a way to heal your body and have lighter periods through your diet. It seemed like it was too good to be true to me but I just started to eat veggies and fruits only a week before and during my period and the cramps were cut in half and only lasted for one day. Just something I've learned on my journey as someone who was tired of my period ruling my life.
Hey Lydia. Hope you are well. Regarding your sun allergy. It might be a lack of vitamin D. I used to suffer from "sun allergy". Starting with tiny spots all over the parts of my body that have been exposed to the sun, then my skin would look like a snake skin, then start flaking. It was honestly horrible. After seeing a naturopath she explained it was due to a lack of vitamin D. I do a three-month treatment before a trip or before the summer and my symptoms disappeared. No more spots, snake and dry skin. She said it is actually quite common for Afro-descendant and something GPs in the UK are not trained to identify. Obviously I am not a doctor but sharing my experience 😊
Listen!!!! Hunny child, Ms Period has changed up on me as I've got older. My cycle used to be a breeze and now I feel like I go through several emotions in 1 hour 🙃 I'm learning to give myself grace & embrace the feels. Mrs O is giving us grown up blessings and issues and I love it. ❤️

I can understand your emotions affecting others and like u said it's because your such a joy day to day. People notice that your a lil off, but give yourself grace.
tackling the mood topic... empathy and boundaries are two things that are connected, but... empathy is relating to someonelse's experience without getting to the point where no one knows whose emotions are involved; so I can relate to your experience even if I didn't experience it directly and it raises in me emotions that may be similar to the ones you have. Boundaries help understanding that this is my experience, and even if we have things in common about it, your experience is indeed different than mine ( we are not the same); so, when I show empathy toward what you feel, I understand you on an emotional level but I can come back to myself without feeling overwhelmed as if what you experienced was my own told by you. Hope it makes sense
Loved the vlog! Regarding rekindling a friendship, I guess it depends on the circumstances surrounding the breakup in the first place, if there was just a fallout, for distance sake,or just life happening to the parties, then maybe yes, I can advise to rekindle, but if there were serious reasons e.g one friend mistreated the other or betrayed the other, maybe just leave things as they are.

You have a beautiful gift, but it's not your responsibility to remain in a particular mood so other people can remain upbeat. They'll definitely need to work on not absorbing so much from the energies around them and instead work on keeping theirs high. You never know, they could then do you a solid and lift your mood. 🙏🏽

@@LydiaDinga trust me it has been a life changer as we speak i'm on my periods(TMI) and i was feeling so tired then i sipped two bottle top of my diluted version i keep in a bottle and i started watching this vlog,afterward,the girl folded clothes,cooked a whole dinner and worked out for an one hour and i when i woke up i was like we will order please not feeling it today,its the holy grail and i also sleep better and my back doesn't kill me as much.
It depends on the friendship. Some people you miss them in your life so will make that effort to rekindle. So from when you're missing them i feel like it can be one of the reasons you end up rekindling. Another reason might be you realise you were in the wrong for x,y,z reason and reach out.

Now I look at it we were all close not because u are not talking to the person means I have to also doesn't work like that for me. So she sent me a voicenote saying she's disappointed in me because I went out and posted the picture and she needs a break from our friendship, so I said cool I have no issues with that and wish her all the best ✌️ we never spoke again and it has been 5 months now so there is no rekindling that. I am too grown to be told whom I should and should not speak too 😒🤭
