I knew David well and I can tell you that he couldn’t swim, he was petrified of that very crossing. So why was he there? Why did the coroner or m.e. say at first there was no water in his lungs, then switched it to yes, there was. He would’ve never taken this ‘shortcut’ to get home. EVER. He wouldn’t have done this. I miss him every day. He would get a kick out of his death being a mystery though! ;) He’d just moved back to New Hope from Athens and was so happy to be there! I saw him the night before he left and cried, said I felt I’d never see him again. Same thing happened with another of his friends, she cried and said she felt she’d never see him again. He was a funny, awesome and amazing human being. Miss you forever David A❤
This was the song that broke ween apart for a bit. Gene ween didn't want it released, as it was dedicated to a friend of theirs who had died, but dean just went and put it out anyway, and gene wasn't okay with that.
@@ffy0000 Yeah, alot of drama seems to stem out from the leaking of Quebec and how Gene was 'Salty' or 'Upset' about the release. I think he was more just kind of disgruntled it was posted without his Permission, as Dean just posted it, but it had been done before anyways. But nowhere can I find him saying it himself, and it seems to be a speculation.
There's a bit more to the story - there's some suspicious aspects to it. David Anderson's body had facial lacerations which weren't consistent with the "fell into the canal" theory, and 13 years later, another woman (Sarah Majoras) died in the same circumstances, at the same spot. The weird part is that in both cases, the person (David/Sarah) had been on the way home from John & Peter's (local live music spot) to the home they shared *with the same guy* - someone called Adam Baker. He was Sarah's boyfriend and David's roommate.
@@theangel666100 Let me try and find it, it was from a local paper... this is a neutral news story on it from the Philadelphia Enquirer: www.inquirer.com/philly/news/local/20130130_Case_of_missing_bartender_strikingly_similar_to_2000_case.html . The other thing I saw was more like amateur detectives convincing themselves that Baker murdered them both, inna reddit stylee. In either case, it's an odd coincidence: exact same manner of death and same flatmate. The police must have at least considered the idea that Baker was involved, so maybe he had an alibi and it checked out or they investigated and decided it wasn't him.
I looked into it, David Anderson was a local musician from Lambertville who fell into the canal and died on July of 2000 or 2001 on his way to a friend's house from John & Peter's bar. His autopsy revealed he had a blood alcohol content of 0.183 and had around 160mg/l of morphine in his body.
He lived with a man named Adam Baker at the time of his drowning. 13 years later, Adam's future roommate Sarah Majoras fell into the same canal and drowned with a similar amount of BAC. Coincidence or murder...?
@@thanib7796 if im not mistaken (its been nearly 4 years since i read the report) a security officer of sorts at the bridge said he saw david one minute and he was gone the next. it’s also said he had a fear of water and couldn’t swim, and his body was found without any signs of robbery or struggle. i think adam’s just the unluckiest guy in the world.
@@thanib7796 you make a hell of a point, but adam isn't the only thing their deaths in common. after sarah's passing they installed better railing on the canal bridge. in both circumstances, someone very intoxicated fell (allegedly) off a bridge, one in the summer, one in the winter. it's a 50/50 chance it's accidental or murder.
The chords to this sad little numbah. It's in E flat(or D#). You'll have to tune up. They should be open chords. Verse // Eb(sus2)Eb Ab Fm Bb Eb(sus2)Eb Ab Db / Fm / Db Bb Chorus // Eb Ab Eb(octave up) Ab Fm Db / Fm / Db Bb End // Db / Fm / Db Bb (x2) Eb Or, think of it as tuning up then these shapes: D, G, Em, A // D, G, C, Em, C, A for verse, and D, G, D(octave up), G, Em, C, Em, C, A for chorus.
The Caesar Demos were just made for lonesome drinking (and I mean that in the best way possible) with songs like this one, Someday and I Fell In Love Today lol. I need more Ween music though!
almost a decade later, i am currently sitting at my computer, alone, playing guitar and drinking, listening to caesar demos. Guess this is a universal experience ha. hope you read this
lyrics: Walkin', I'm away I'm a long time gone and then The bomb What's that? Who said? How many days? Just what the hell is goin' on? Oh, dude Not you, my friend It's been a while, since you've been gone Still don't understand why you left us Anderson I'm all right, I'm still drunk Just so you know I eat the ambien And watch Simpsons Oh, dude Not you, my friend You'll be missed, still are The bar's not ever the same since you've Been gone I miss you, you know that So with my days I just go on And on and on Oh, dude Not you, my friend
@ 7sshare - really?? I liked their first album, the rest have yet to hear. Ween has a few dozen unreleased greats in my book, nearly all of which are up on YT thanks especially to destr100, not to mention Dean Ween himself. Cheers.
I've never encountered a band that has the same ratio of released to unreleased tracks as Ween do. With most left-field bands you can hunt about and find some stuff, usually not that great. But with Ween there's as much unreleased as released, and a maybe a quarter or even a half of it is really good. I don't understand why it wasn't polished up and released, I feel like they could have done twice as many albums.
That also works and makes more sense than both of them. Although it sounds like an E sound to me, Like "em-bien". But you're in the lead. It's the best theory so far.
Walking im away. Im a long time gone and then the bomb. What's that? Who said? How many days? Just what the hell is going on? Oh, dude. Not you, my friend It's been a while since you've been gone. Still don't understand why you left us, Anderson. I'm alright. I'm still drunk. Just so you know, I eat the Indian and watch Simpsons. Oh dude. Not you, my friend. You'll be missed, still are The buzz not ever the same since you've been gone I miss you You know that Soon with my days I'll just go on
Yeah you're probably right. It sounds like it could go either way, though. Did he have a son? If not, you're definitely right. I also just read it's "eat the Indian"(sounds right) not onion -- presumably an inside joke. Both make equally little sense from the outside.
