It is crazy to me that my dad is very good friends with the drummer of Weezer. Started listening to them and then my dad just started showing me pictures of me with him as a kid. Truly from nothing to everything. Inspirational.

The message I take from Weezer and this song is that 'hey, some may look at my life and think that I'm so uncool, but guess what? I love my life and don't have to pretend or put on act to make myself look cool '. Many kids need to hear that. Weezer Rules 🤘🏿

It was like yesterday (not 13 years ago), we showed up to a parking structure in Beverly Hills just knowing "Weezer." No one knew anything else. They took us in vans to a private location. Out of about 150, I was fortunate to be one of the first 50 call times, so I got to enjoy the lawn, hang in the grotto and then Hef walked out. That's when we all knew it was the iconic playboy mansion. I've done a few music videos prior and after, but nothing was better than this gem location. 2:40

A bit after the she flatlined someone in the room next over started playing this song on speaker, When she heard this song she immediately got up from her bed to turn it off >_> It was then that I realized I will forever be thankful to Weezer for that moment 🤧 ROCK ON🤘
