I love how Rivers dressed up exactly like he used to during the pinkerton era: white shirt with rolled up/short sleeves, wearing contacts instead of glasses

this is played so well. it's funny, that they never forgot how to re-produce that beloved sound of 96 (or even 94), but Rivers just didn't care to return to it for most of his career
I had to do a school project on the song so I found that out fast lol I used to think that instead of “ I’m sorry here I go” it was “I’m sorry white girl” witch makes no sense lol
this album, and espically the deluxe version have such a girly harmony and melodic theme, it will never cease to amaze me, never heard anything close to this album.
@@voxelisdead no yeah i actually meant girly. don't know how to explain my mind on this but the melody of the songs seems so innocent and pure, reminds me of a teenage girl
This is Weezer on the top of their arts. Doesn´t matter the numbers, or what they did after for them. This is the best. They were really a great band.Thank you for uploading.
My favorite Weezer album. One of my fav concerts was at the Metro in 2000 where I saw Weezer who was resurfacing. They played a lot of classics but new songs
Hell yes! I was at that show too. Getting tickets was so exciting. Dynamite Hack opened. Weezer was awesome and seeing them at Metro in that era with the comeback bubbling was the shit.
I’ve got you beat, I think. I saw weezer at the Riviera, it was November 1996. I was 15, my first real concert ever. Pinkerton had only been out a couple months. It was amazing, the floor was packed so tight I could hardly breathe. Good times
Being a fan of the Blue album, I bought this when it came out. I didn't get it...I listened to it many times but sold the CD after a couple years. Then around 2005 someone told me to give this album another spin and I simply can't understand why it didn't click the first time. I can't decide which album is better...Blue or Pink. This is one of my favorite albums...probably in the top 25 and I own more than a thousand records. It's quite unique. So was Blue.
I forgot about it, but yeah! I believe they mixed some other tunes in, in other concerts. Maybe they did here too, but just edited, so it was all pinkerton.
It was for the memories tour back in 2010, with the release of Hurley. Every night on the tour they would play either Pinkerton or Blue in its entirety, and the band (mainly rivers) would wear an outfit from that era
@@siriyadamartin that was when pinkerton came out. I believe they were referring to this specific performance. Which I believe is 2010/2011 since this was The Memories Tour, after the release of Hurley.
Gotta be your stereo, I'm listening on earbuds as I'm writing this, Brian is panned hard right, Rivers hard left, he is absolutely audible as he should be
