A song that really resonates in my heart. This describes my life perfectly now and how I have felt for the past 2 years. The cause of my unhappiness was me. Still can't listen to this song without crying. What a wonderful song!

I miss the playfulness of pinkerton. backing vocals on almost every track had some kind of "dicking off element to it" its what pinkerton really stands out for.

Still don't understand how this album was so unloved in the beginning. In 96-97 I was a senior in high school and it seemed like I was the only guy that had and listened to this CD, and people kept coming by my room to get a better listen to the tracks I was listening to from this album because they loved Weezer's blue album. For years I was under the impression that Pinkerton was my own secret album Weezer wrote just for me. lol No idea that other people even listened to this album let alone that it would one day become widely known as the best album they ever wrote.

This was the song i listened to in the first weeks after quitting drugs and when i started walking around. I was unemployed and i turned my entire life around. I still have depression but i create. This song was where it fkn started. It meant so much on my journey.

It blows mind that Pinkerton wasn't better received back in the day. I was about 17 when this came out. I cut my teeth on the blue album. When I listened to Pinkerton, it spoke to my soul. Damn shame it took so long for it to be appreciated.

I love Weezer, listened to the Blue album over a million times. But, Weezer to me is with Matt Sharp. The replacement bass players have been great too, but Matt brings the original Weezer sound to me.

I discovered this song at age 13 in 2003 right before entering high school. Even as an adult it hits as hard as it did then and probably even more so. Incredible how they made such a goofy video for a serious song.
