It is accurate to the 07 movie aswell in the Mission City part of the movie, Prime clearly reaches out for the gas tank in his back, the tank transforms into the gun and he proceeds to shoot Megatron with it

@@OGrupxe So both of you just gonna ignore the scene from DOTM where he was being attacked by Sentinel and all the Decepticon ships? He was literally pulling, an axe then a canon out of his back. Cmon that counts, too. And I don't think the gas tank transform into his canons, more like his canons are compacted and stored withing the gas tank, because if the gas tanks transform into his canon then those tanks should have been missing from his back. I did some rewatch and I think it's the case.

@@Eugene_Black That's unlikely in the Bayverse because everything the Autobots or Decepticons have comes from a weapon cache or is part of them and is stored/tucked somewhere

Wei Jiang wasn't just Making an upscaled for fun... They just want to make this mold more screen accurate and this toy is meant for transformers collectors

That may be one of my favorite bits of engineering I've seen in a while

At least Thunder Leader doesn't have loose legs, big-ass backpack, cheap paint easy to scratch or a overwhelmingly price point just for the accessories.

Night Owl YT the unique toys last knight Megatron looks beautiful and the transformation looks a bit complicated, but such is complications with accuracy and I like it when it’s complicated. Makes the transformation a lot more satisfying.

This comment aged amazing lol. The new KO os Ironhide (Black Apple design) has the cannons and his DotM shotguns fit into the truck as part of the transformation. 4th party M-06 KO os Ironhide Is the "official" title 😂 if you haven't, go take a look. I bought mine at ShowZ for $100, worth every penny for the ridiculous screen accuracy alone. It'll blow your mind if you love Ironhide.

R.I.P. Wei Jiang, they were truly amazing. They didn't deserve the cease and desist.

Like for example when you mentioned ripping off other people's toys when hasbro made tf5 hound figure, wei jiang pretty much copied it exactly a few differences was the paint to make it more screen accurate and the bullet cigar and necklace. But I should remember that Wei Jiang just modifies the figures to make it appealing and worth keeping in the collection for adult buyers. Whereas a company like Hasbro just manufactures transformers toys with not exactly screen accurate paint for the kids. In my personal opinion from what I remember back then the only figure that would be worth buying from them is the Evasion mode Optimus Prime that is just beautifully well done and also other cool accessories that came from dark of the moon.

Oh dear lord, the amount of miniscule little panels and pieces would be too much to make it any fun, it would take 2 days to change modes lol it WOULD be a feat of engineering, and the price would reflect that, careful what you wish for 😂😂

If thats the case, we still need to wait for someone to design and engineer the grill to fold inside towards his chest rather than becoming his feet since Leader Class ROTF Prime if we have to be accurate. They got the trailer hook fold in his back for MPM-04 just right like the Bonecrusher highway chase scene, so surely someone can do the grill infold. Edit: Also, as much as I love the Black Apple release for this, I kinda hate how his front window panels don't tuck in fully to look more accurate to the movie design, but I'm guessing that's probably done on purpose to avoid further c&d. But since Wei Jang has been shut down for years now it'll be awhile until another 3rd party company can take this design and do it even further.

Then how come the official scale chart for Transformers 2007 lists Optimus Prime's height as 28 feet and Megatron's height as 35 feet? Optimus Prime and Megatron were only the same height in the G1 cartoon and G1 comics despite what you denialist G-whiners claim.

@@LuucT25 Megatron is only 30 feet in movies 3, 4, and 5. He's 35 in movies 1 and 2. He shrank between ROTF and DOTM.

@@christophersichler98 In the Mission city and forest battle scene he wasn't tall as the "official charts tells him to be, 30 feet is a more grounded scale to go with Megatron. I think that this Wei Jiang Prime scales much better with Wei Jiang Megatron than the likes of Aoyi Mech Megatron

@@TheBatman39 Megatron was definitely larger than Optimus Prime. The Wei Jiang Thunder Leader scales better with the Wei Jiang OS MPM Megatron than with the Honey Badger 1:1 KO MPM Megatron. The only instances of Optimus Prime and Megatron being the same size are with the toys released as part of the movie toy lines that directly tied into the theatrical release of those films.

Louie Asuque I mean they kinda are more than oversized? Adding all those extra steps and giving it a heavy remold pretty much sets this apart from the original MPM as being much better

Galaxize I always dislike how the grill ends up as the bottom of the feet. I know there’s no other place to put them, but they end up getting scratched and stuff. XD
