As someone who isn't used to idols having great acting skills, I was always amazed at zhan's acting. The only exception is when he starts playing the flute and his thicc luscious bottom lip is blocking the hole where the air should go and he's pressing notes that don't exist.....💀💀💀 at that point I just console myself by thinking he spent the time he should have used to actually learn the flute on learning how to cry on command while looking majestic asf instead. That being said, this video is therapeutic to me LMAO

😂😂ik cz the music was composed after the whole drama was shot...so the actors(xiao Zhan: flute,wang yibo:zither) didn't get to practice the musical notes...the crew just asked them to play randomly...🙂abt the flute's hole being blocked by his lip...idk cz I was looking at those damn lips I didn't notice anything else 😂

Through the whole book (and a large part of the series) Jingyi is constantly talking shit about WWX's playing. To the point where, before WWX gets Chenqing back, he bitches about how he'd like to see Jingyi do better with a random piece of bamboo he made into a flute on the fly. Oh my god I cried with laughter watching this. I just finished watching The Untamed so this is exactly what I needed to cheer me up. I am watching the first few episodes again but I don't think I will ever be able to watch them playing the flute again without thinking about Thomas the Tank Engine!!!
