they're seriously the most realistic couple i've seen in a drama recently. there's enough skinship between them to be realistic, they handle situations and drama in a realistic way. i love their chemistry
the pool/water is the best escape for joon young. at the same time, blue is usually linked to sadness and strangely, also the warmest color (you get the gist of it and the meaning it conveys.) the setting is totally perfect for this scene..i absolutely love it!
sofia Thanku so much.. Whenever i feel something good or bad.. I always wear blue.. I never knew this is the main reason.. One more thing i get to know today.. That is.. I don't know myself..
Joon Hyung looked so broken and fragile and Bok Joo just stood there and listened and then hugged him...listen i don't care what drama you're watching right now because it does not come close to this....this chemistry can be felt right through the screen.
well i will tell you what happend then so the guy hes mom left him ever since he was small like 4 or something so she came back while he grow up he though she came to see him he was so happy to see her and huged her and everything the next day he came in the house and stood by the door hes aunt was talking to his brother about money thier gonna give the mom she didnt actully come to see them she came for money so he got so sad and ran out of home and went missing they found him after a week or less and then this happend and that girl is hes gf
What tiffany tv is trying to say (fixed grammar):His mom left him ever since he was small,so he grew up alone with his uncle, aunt, and cousin Jae Yi.They adopted him basically since he was very young until he's now grown up.His mom moved to Canada and had a daughter there, the daughter is ill and Joon Hyung's mom has no money. After all those years,Joon Hyung's mom comes home, and he is very happy to see her again.Later on,Joon Hyung learns that his mom came home for money, and not him.He goes missing for one day,and Bok Joo finds him the day after.(This scene)
Translation: Bok Joo: Come out now. : I'm going to get you : Do you know how worried I was? : I went to Han River just in case you jumped off the bridge : Why did you turn off your phone? : You need a good beating to come back to your senses : What are you doing, Joon Hyung? : Joon Hyung : Gosh : Are you okay? Joon Hyung: Bok Joo : Mom didn't come to see me : She came here for money : To borrow money : My assumption was clearly wrong : Even though I missed my Mom to death, I preserved through it : I thought it was the same for her : Only I was happy to see her : It's so embarrassing : I'm embarrassed, for myself : I feel embarrassed in front of Uncle and Aunt : Compared to when Mom abandoned me : I'm much sadder now
I love it that when she lend him a shoe it fitted him perfectly; the irony that his real mum bought the wrong size, while the people who loved him and stayed him-his aunt and bokjoo knew his size instinctively.
dude so many ppl bring him shoes. Shi ho, his aunt/uncle and his mom all buy him shoes but bok joo just steals a pair but they're the ones that he really needed. omg this show i fucking can't
This scene right here made me want to cry with him. NAM JOO HYUK should win an award for this scene..when he saw his mom and started to cry. I havent seen his other works but this show in particular, he really nailed this part. I just want to givr him a hug and be there for him. 😭
This one is gold...nam joo hyuk's acting is so natural and heart felt.. he will be one of the greatest actor of his generation..hoping to see them again.. a sequel maybe..
I love how relatable Joon hyung's character in this drama is. He has a great face and personality and a sad back story. The reason why they are a perfect couple is because Bok Ju is warm, comforting and a positive energy for him while Joon hyung is supportive towards her, her family and her dream. They are friends before becoming lovers. They are straight forward with their feelings and they compliment each other. It's a lovely ride watching the drama until the end :')
One of the most heartbreaking scenes ever in Weightlifting Fairy, Kim Bok-joo. Both actors nailed it perfectly, especially Nam Joo-hyuk! I understand how Jung Joon-hyung felt. It's so hurt to see a broken child like him who is abandoned by his mother as a little kid. But i'm glad that he was raised with so much love and comfort by his aunt and uncle, and even had his cousin who treats him as his own brother. Joon-hyung deserves all the love and attention every child needs.
I like lee sung kyung since I watched Cheese In The Trap, her portrayal on Baek In Ha's character is soo amazing, depicting and slaying! but her portrayal as Kim Bok Joo is unbelievable, she went further as gaining weight just for this role. she's really a talented one!
This scene and the scene when he lashed out to his aunt are the two scenes where I'm totally convinced that he has upped his acting skill. He nailed the delivery that it easily made me cried. Kudos to him!
this is a heartbreaking scene. even after the show is ended I can't stop watching it. both the actors have amazing chemistry and makes me cry everytime I watch it. can't wait for the next projects for both these actors.
he went missing bc he was really sad bc hes mom didnt come to see him after all the years shes been abanding him she only came for money he was raised with hes aunt for all his life if you aant to watch it with eng sub you can go on dramanice :)
So far Kim Bok jo and fight for my way was the most realistic drama I’ve seen so far, like there’s a lot of good kdramas out there but the chemistry in those 2 kdramas are one of the best. It’s like something that would happen in real life 🥺🥺🥺
I guess that his mom come back not because she felt sorry after abandoned him but actually because of money. That's why he feels more ashamed by his mother and it's more hurtful rather than when his mother abandon him. Or it can be that his mom abandoned him because of money.. Sorry, I'm not really good in Korean. But for sure he feels ashamed for what his mother done, ashamed with himself and ashamed with his uncle and aunt.
I thought the same. And there's one thing I realize that only Nam Joo Hyuk and Lee Sung Kyung can act this scene, because they're both tall enough to stand in the pool, hhaha
You are exactly correct. I think this scene is in episode 14 or 15, am not quite sure. That was the translation in English that this scene was all about.
Esta escena no importa cuantas veces la vea termino llorando como la primera vez!! excelentes actores los dos!!! son increíbles pocos actores son los que me conmueven hasta las lagrimas.
