Can you believe this drama delivered EVERYTHING. The actors, the acting skills, the writing, the cohesive love story, the natural development of feelings, no jealousy or ugly misunderstanding, clear communication between then leads, pure and supportive friendships, the leads experiencing stress and anxiety and dealing with it in a healthy way and even going to a psychologist and the development of their professional careers. This drama is simply one of the best to ever exist. Period.
Why I love this drama: - the stereotypes it broke - the girl never tried to change herself for the lead man - the girl being the strong one - the boy being more softer than the girl - the boy really loved the girl for who she was - the girl continued to be herself even after they got together - the boy letting the girl be the strong one - A funny couple even after getting together
I too love that dynamics in romance comedy. Strong female lead vs gentle boy❤❤. Too many cold hearted male leads or bad boys we want to see the sweeter boy
Joonyoung is really one of the best written male lead ever!!! He loves Bokjoo for who she is, he’s always there for her through her ups and downs, always gives bokjoo assurance and despite the issue that he has with his biological mom he still grew up to be a good person
Andd he’s not a sociopath like every other romcom🙄 that what I LOVEDDD ABT HIM HE WAS JUST SOO FUNNY AND CHARMING AND PLAYFULL THAN JUST STARING AT HER
@saga 099 it’s basically a term in korean which is used by girls to talk to boys older than them, but it can be used in a flirtatious manner and in some cases is equivalent to the english word “daddy”. it’s kind of cringey to me at this point because of how often it’s misused. like idk i cringe when i hear it now
i love this drama because unlike other dramas, all the problems would always be solved. i really loved this one. and also junhyung and bokjoo's chemistry was so cute and natural.🥺🥺

These are my 3 favorite Kdramas: - Weightlifting fairy Kim Bok Joo - Strong Woman Do Bong Soon - What’s wrong with Secretary Kim I love these kdramas cuz of their chemistry and how comfortable they are with each other, and it doesn’t look fake at all, it’s just feels like it’s REAL. And I forgot While You Were Sleeping. This one is also sooo good. AND MORE I HATE but also LOVE The Penthouse, is kind of a conflict. It’s really getting JUICY now. edit: Vincenzo is also soo good
God!! I have this such a bad habit of watching the 1st and 2nd episodes of any drama and then going to RU-vid and searching for all the kisses, and then going back to resume the drama, it just gives me internal bliss to know what is ahead and then smiling like an idiot, hope I am not the only one.
This is the only kdrama that i can watch without subtitle because i have watched this many times and i can't watch another kdrama because of this one😂😅
My heart skipped a beat when i saw this posted. Its been so long since a drama made me feel this way, watching this drama fills me with joy and it made me feel like i was in their world. Realistic and memorable dialogs, consistent plot, great characters and amazing chemistry between the leads. Its hard for other pairings to top what they have brought to life on screen. I hope the future of kdramas will be inspired by these type of dramas that stayed warm, bring happiness and touch the souls of people around the world. I hope this pairing would work together again in the future, they certainly brought bok joo and joon hyung's characters come to life and made us fall in love with their heartwarming story of pure friendship and love. I think this becomes underrated because it was airing the same time with DOTS (I think) that's why it got buried because DOTS was so massive that time.
One of the best kdrama I've ever seen . Joohyuk and Sungkyungs acting are so natural and realistic. Theres no episode that I didn't laugh. Their chemistry is beyond mountain Everest. PERIODT.
Baek Yi Jin character was cool, but nothing can come close to this masterpiece. I keep coming back to this drama 5-6 times while watching 2521. Those references fireworks, snow kiss, beach date, gold medal... 청춘 그 자체 ♡ 복주녕 Forever
I love how after they became a couple they stayed one for the rest of the show, unlike most K-dramas. The writers never resorted to noble idiocy or dumb misunderstandings to break them up. So refreshing to see that, for once.
I agree. So many dramas, we get second lead syndrome. But, this one was different. He has all the qualities of the supportive second male lead, and he gets the girl at the end.

I had heard about the drama.. and finally decided to watch it one day And really really loved it... I just love how they gradually fell in love with each other.. the innocence of bokjoo and chemistry between both the characters.. everything was nicely built up and really got me really hooked up.. Loved it, best kdrama I have ever seen!!!!
I know what you mean. I have been putting this drama off for years and I finally decided to watch it and now I can't stop. I can't move on from it. I've rewatched it three times so far and I'm consoling myself with these videos. This is by far the best kdrama I've ever watched. And I've watched kdramas for the last 20 years. (I'm in my 30s now hehe) but gosh, this is sooooooooooooooooooo goooooooodddd.

Watching other dramas and rewatching this drama made me realize, nam joo hyuk and lee sung kyung were really natural with their skinship, they touched the way real lovers would so they looked so real whilst other dramas leads would just touch their lips while putting distance between their bodies. This might be a minor detail but it’s one I pay attention to, and this just made me miss this drama (and this otp) so much🥺
