Wow, I love Weird Al even more now than I did before. He's a great guy, doesn't swear, stayed true to his roots, his mom warned him about Hollywood and he agreed with her. Good, humble, genuine guy!

Al is 100% a musician and performer. I saw him live around the White and Nerdy era, maybe 2006-ish and it is still by far one of the best live shows I've ever seen. His band is incredible and the showmanship is just out of this world. He ran off stage and came back in a full-on fat suit in probably less than 30 seconds!

Weird Al is such a genuinely nice guy! What a pleasure to hear from him and also watch him give a big fan an actual tat! Heart of gold that one.

I loved his movie. It was a bit long at times, but all the nods, the actors, it was leaving me breathless with laughter. Weird Al live at Red Rocks is THE BEST SHOW I have ever experienced. Ever. His children's book is one our favorites to read to our littles. Two people on this podcast that provided a safe haven for me in my childhood. One has A LOT less hair.

The three of them not knowing if the others are saying “creamy swirl” or “queenie squirrel” is like a vaudeville bit from the 30s.

Less than half of the songs on Weird Al's 14 studio albums are parodies. Al is an incredible song writer. He writes music for movies, tv and commercials. 80% of Al's songs are his amazing original songs. I've been to 3 of his originals only tours and he is a phenomenal performing artist with 4 of the best musicians in the world as his bandmates.

I've been a fan of Howie and Al for a long time. I love Bobby's World. I used to play accordion as a kid partly cuz of Al. I had to beg and borrow my way to see Weird AL back In 2000. My old friend made Al a couple pairs of Polka Pants that he actually wore 😂 ♥ 🙏 Wet Ass Polka Parody 😂

I love Howie for having this podcast and having Weird Al on it. I love Al for doing Howie's podcast. While a lot of the questions and topic's discussed have already been talked about by almost every single interviewer ever, I appreciate the casual talk of getting Al to discuss his video gaming and other "off duty" activities. I am massively jealous of that tattoo. I would have asked for the same exact tattoo!

2 legends, one podcast He probably doesn't remember but my family knew Al in the 80s. I'm always happy when I see him around doing stuff. The movie was fun, but at first I didn't realize it was supposed to be a lie so I kept spotting all the stuff that wasn't true. It was confusing, but I figured out that it wasn't supposed to be the real story. Although, the pool party where Al blew away Wolfman Jack- that really happened. 😆 Edit: Should've asked about his MTV days. That's some of the stuff I wish they could find and put out in a compilation. I miss that kind of, low budget, minimally produced comedy. You don't really see that anymore- even on youtube.

My friend Ryan and I snuck backstage, slipped security money, at a Weird Al concert it was the Alapalooza tour, was so much fun! I still have a signed Alapalooza t-shirt in my office on wall from decades ago!! Al was so kind, quiet backstage like total opposite of his crazy persona on stage! Great teen memory. Some of the funniest clips you'll ever see is when weird Al hosted Much Music! Canada's version of MTV

Much love Weird Al! The fact that you actually watch other comedians during your own shows truly speaks volumes. It has only happened to me personally one time but I saw a KMK concert, and Lou Dogg, KMK drummer, watched every set before he went on stage. Blew me away haha.

Al is literally a day or two younger than me. I remember in 1964 an accordion salesman coming by to convince my parents to by an accordion for my older brother. My parents did not buy it.

I remember the parody of the song Amadeus by FALCO but it was Jerry Lewis by some disc jocky from KZZP in Phoenix,AZ back in the 80's! "Do you all remember THAT?!!" I lived in Phoenix back then and I loved that!!

This was like watching/listening to two guys in the same friend circle who always wanted to hang out but never got the time too, finally getting that time. I got something in common with both these guys, my corny taste in music and my kids lucked out and look like their mother, that last one stings sometimes but hey, wish I was that lucky too. 🤣 I would love to just spend a night having beers and chatting/joking around with these two.

It’s wild that he had a bad contract for 10 albums that probably spanned decades. I hope he was able to capitalize in other ways during that time.

I always think of Howie as this sort of wholesome guy, and then that picture of the 🌹with, is this covid related pops until my head, and I remember, he's a comedic genius. Love Weird AL, too. He is truly wholesome
