From the age of 19 up until now I've been stalked. He's threatened me, my husband, and once tried to run over my then 10 and 8 year old sons. I have evidence, police reports, etc. I know who he is, and so do the authorities, but they can't/won't do anything until he physically harms me or mine. He's always stayed just under the threshold of "illegality". He is one of my older brothers. My house has been like Fort NOX, and I have training and gun training. This has gone on for the last 30 YEARS! I hate him, the "system", and his enablers.
Cops are just criminals with a shield, their plate, imho... Attempts are as criminal as successes, and should be treated as such by cops, DAs and judges, but of course, all these men are men, and consider a "loving man" as victim of their own desires. And when there is a woman to talk to, she won't move by fear of being ostracized by this male community. This isn't love, but arrogant powerfull men don't see this, as they use their power to subdue people and make them submit to their will as well... I'm a man, not of that kind, and i feel for you. Your family are enableist, along all those law impaired representatives of the "legit authorities". You shouldn't have to live like Sarah Connor from Terminator ! I wish and hope, some day, you will find someone willing to do the right thing instead of hiding their head in the sand to remain socially acceptable among this foolery. I KNEW IT! As soon as she said they got married, I said "plot twist: he's the stalker" as a joke because that's just so cliche. Now I'm beginning to wonder if it's a real story just at how cliche the whole thing is lol
I've a couple guys creep on me in my lifetime. The worst one was an adult man that divorced his wife because he fell in love with me. I was only 12 at the time. That was scary for me.

I feel so bad for OP and her aunt having that nightmare Mitch in their lives. Sadly mid-way when OP thought her stalker was Sarah and still felt she was in danger, I said when in doubt always trust your instincts. People often forget that that sick feeling you get is often your survival instinct kicking in and telling you a predator is nearby. Sure there are moments where it could be paranoia, or you overreacting, but wouldn't one rather overreact than be caught by surprise? I am glad OP paid attention to that instinct telling her the situation was not handled nor over. It may have saved her life in the end as it sounds like Mitch was fully prepared to harm OP to get what he wanted. Either way I am glad OP and her aunt are free of him and he rots away in prison for the rest of his days.
I was stalked for a year by an ex-boyfriend. It was scary, messed me up emotionally for a while, and changed me forever. I won't go into detail, but eventually, the police were able to stop him. All was ok when we broke up. It wasn't until 3 years later when my husband and I got engaged that he suddenly had the cliche attitude "If I can't have her..." My husband and I have been married for 28 years now, and my ex was in jail for 3 years, and he has not tried to contact me since his release. But, as for OP's story. To me, it was a hell of a lot scarier! At least with my stalking, I knew who it was, so my husband, friends, and family could keep an eye out for him. His mother even let me know if she felt he was up to something. However, being stalked and having no idea who is stalking you has got to be terrifying! I pray that OP and her baby boy stay safe!
Pretty sure it's been multiple plots in different crime shows. I definitely remember an episode of law and order svu where something like this happened. End of the episode they arrested the husband, turned out he was a r**est and he r**ed her years ago. She didn't believe it until he told her to "tell them the truth. She filed a false report and it was consensual."
Wow crazy story! I was stalked for over a year by someone on my husband's side of the family. He would send me taunting messages all the time, I was getting really scared. I found out that not to long after he was caught by my husband that he died several months later. My situation was nothing like this story her stalker was a really scary person! 😟
I was stalked ownce in high school, and twice in my early 20s and middle age with my husband best friend cop friend. Its soooooo strange something like this happened soooooo much iny life.....
Those girls were insane bullies that see others’ suffering as an attempt for attention. Picking on someone who has a health issue they can’t help is disgusting. That aside, OP’s husband is beyond levels of unhinged obsession. If he wanted her aunt, he should’ve talked to her directly. But no, he went in a round about way to drag an innocent person into his messed up delusions.
Actually he hooked and was ready to discard OP and move on to his next victim. She was his primary target at one point and the moment she finally became his (hook, line and sinker) he was ready to sink her and make her aunt his next victim while forcing her to absorb her aunt's betrayal had he succeeded. She was his primary target.

I never thought anyone would stalk me (I was WRONG). Started when I was almost 20 (I think)….that was just shy of 40 years ago. I didn’t know him. It started with cards almost everyday with ALOT of personal writing in them. Then a dozen roses every Monday morning, my roommate joked it was looking like a funeral parlor in our house (I laughed - but that thought bothered me). Then came the following me everywhere. Not to mention sitting in a parked vehicle watching our place for hours any chance he could. Not even a visit from a friends very large husband (Cop) made it stop. He stayed just far enough away, nothing could be done (which told me that wasn’t his first rodeo, he’d done that before. I couldn’t tell the guys in my family, I was afraid if I did, they’d end the guy & themselves end up in jail. So I thought about it (got super p****d off) and decided to take care of things myself. I thought, “ok, you want to follow me huh, follow me to the Range. You’ll see I have a gun & am an excellent shot. Follow me to karate class, & watch how fast my belts increased”. Y’all get the idea. The last night I saw him outside the house, I brought home a paper target that most would have been proud how many X hits. The X’s were over strategic areas of a stick man ( between the eyes, heart, crotch, etc.). So I put a tad of lipstick on & put a little kiss on the paper. Walked out to his vehicle & handed it to him with a small note “put this on your refrigerator from me”. I never saw him again. Thank God
So glad i have never been stalked. That must be so scary. Then to find out you actually married the stalk that is oh my. Glad op, baby and aunt are safe now.
I've been stalked three times in my life. One was a classmate in high school who eventually got busted by some of my friends on the football team and subsequently was told to leave me alone forever ........or suffer their wrath. He chose life. Guy 2 was a guy in my neighborhood who kept peeping into my window......until he came face-to-face with my dad's. 38. He too chose life. The third was a crazy ex who refused to take no for an answer. I dealt with him when I got tired of bieng afraid.

There's too many weird things in this story that make me lean towards it being fictional, but the standouts are her just randomly deciding to use a white dress she found in a box in her husband's storage as a makeshift bandaid to sop up blood and starts ripping it up for the purpose. That just seems like something bizarre for any human being in any state to do in a situation that wasn't a dire emergency. For all she knew, she could have just decided to destroy his grandmother's priceless wedding dress. The other moment that really gave me pause was the sleeping pills in the tea, both the fact that she decided to drug him and the fact that they waited until a poetic moment to take effect. I can't help but feel like even though he was probably a dangerous person, she could have still gotten into legal trouble for drugging him like that, assuming this takes place in America. Considering you can often get in serious trouble just for putting hot sauce in food knowing a thieving coworker might steal it, it might come back on her as attempted poisoning rather than self defense.
My ex husband told me I could leave 2 ways in a box or in a bag in pieces. it took me years to get out safely and without him killing me or our son. I had always told my son never take my side , never defend me or he would turn on him. One night he was choking me and my son had to pull a gun on him to get him to stop. After that happened he lied about about me and my son saying we neglected him . Once we proved that I had been divorced from him for months and was even living out of the country and the fact I had a recording of him confessing he lied to get back at me and my son were we both cleared of any wrong doing. Even though the SOB is dead and gone , I still have nightmares of him trying to kill me. I still look over my shoulder afraid he is going to kill me. He even paid some people to kill me but I got lucky and they told police about it. I know time heals I just wish it would hurry and stop the nightmares.
I wasn't the one stalked but a guy I knew, friend of a friend, would meet a girl and after *1* interaction decide that she was the one God wanted him to marry and become obsessed. This happened 3 times and one of them complained to our college because she rightly felt uncomfortable. He once asked me for advice on girls and when I told him he was coming on too strong and he needed to slow down, he didn't like that. Then during 2016, after he was asked to not come back to his own church because of how argumentative he was being, he came to my church with a mutual friend. My pastor was doing a sermon series called "Jesus for President," and it was about trusting God no matter who was in charge or the political climate. He saw the title of the series, didn't even listen to what the pastor had to say and caused such a huge scene, he was asked to leave and not return. Showed up at my apartment that evening and told me that I needed to quit my job and travel with him, think like Abraham in the OT, and that if I stayed at my church, my pastor was going to lead me to hell. I'd had the same pastor since I was born at that point and did not take to kindly to his accusations. Told him that if God wanted me to leave my church, he'd be the last person God would use to send that message, I wanted him out of my apartment, and to never talk to me again. He tried calling me from New Mexico a few times but eventually stopped. I'll be happy to never hear from him again.
OP should’ve gotten a bunch of different burner phones and given each number out to a different person they know and carry them all with them for the time being until they find the person who is informing the stalker from the only other person to know that number.
I do not remember the title, I watched a movie about a woman that was rape, ended up pregnant. She got married to a very handsome man that loved her and her child. They had a few children together. One day her eldest child became ill and ended a kidney transplant. The woman's family had been tested, but her husband was not. Once the husband took the test, it was proven he was the father of her eldest daughter. Yes, the woman married her rapist by accident. (Very handsome man)
I know how it feels to be stalked. I'm not some gorgeous woman. I'm average looking. But I've had 3 in my life since I was 16. The 1st one even went so far as to date 2 of my friends to keep tabs on me. He was married also. The 2nd one I met when I took his order at work (Popeyes) and it was on until I went to California for a bit. The 3rd one was the most recent. I moved into my landlords old house. Well turns out she had a stalker who was sent to a mental institution for 7 years. Well guess who he finds in the house when he was released? Little ol' me. After stalking me for 4 months. My cameras catch him breaking in literally minutes after I'd left home. He fed the cat, made himself a sandwich and a drink, let the cat out and stole some of mine and my daughters underwear. It was so scary. When I spoke to my landlord about the break-in that's when she tells me about her ordeal. Ghee thanks Loretta... and then tells me to be on high alert until he's caught. I have lived alone (with 2 kids) since my husband passed away. I'm absolutely terrified of my own shadow nowadays. I don't think I can handle a 4th one.
Johnny, LEOs do have a duty to protect and serve. Just not for law abiding citizens. They have a duty to protect and serve people that are taken into custody. Basically criminals.

Wtf! Would I be wrong for giving the kid away bc that man stalked you to have his kid and for that matter. You are a lifer with your stalker. If you could do it all over again.
