Killer sessioning! Wish the old IH35 Pflugerville ditch was still around, they put in a culvert and covered it with dirt decades ago. I remember shredding that thing in the late '80s, and skaters from Houston and Dallas used to road trip to it, even had at least one official contest there! Oh, and the Big Boys, the Dicks, the Butthole Surfers, and Scratch Acid ALL rule!

I moved to Austin late, but I do remember photos of that ditch and it was known all over the country as a heavy local spot.

Yeah, some good spots all up and down 1-35 . Right on with the music too.! I randomly met Juke Box John of scratch acid or the (Hickoids)? at the Greyhound station leaving Austin to Laredo years ago -08-09? We talked the whole way down, about cow punk , politics and we’resupposed to smoke out together . Never got the chance to, he was leaving to Mexico forgot where exactly, he gave me his silver glitter belt randomly and said to go to a certain bar in Austin. Tell them Juke Box John sent you and I’d probably get free drinks😂 .Never went, forgot what bar..!?
