Flicking the Bird instead of flipping the bird, looked like a bit of fun Bowly?! How about have another challenge where we send you a home made lure to catch a fish? 👍👍
Having fished multiple s in different sizes and colors, ru-vid.comUgkxCbNOWAGmn6nfbCbJDmasvBq7J38KZNw2 this is by far my favorite. One thing to be aware of is the sided willow blade. One side is silver and the other is the green/orange shown. This is not bad, just unconventional. In terms of fishing, I have found the lure works just fine without a tail like a craw or shad. That addition is up to you. Also, the hook part where you attach the swivel snap or tie the line is a problem on baits these days, since it's able to slide up and down. However this lure seems to be tight enough that that doesn't happen often, and you can solve it by putting a thin slice of medical tube over the hook before attaching the line. Like others have said, it's really magic on a good windy day.
Love the lure challenge mate! Those rats are budgies r really good for murray cod in NSW and Victoria. They have a really good action and as soon as I saw u were using them, I thought something would definitely smash them in the creeks
Love the content mate! You are my most favourite RU-vidrs rn😊 I don’t know how you catch so many fish on lures I never seem to have any luck😂 I always use bait.
New boat era Bowly marked by the net already being ready when you needed it 😂 sick video mate, hard to think in about 1x1m box of water there’s a barra, 2 jacks, a baby GT and a big old cod all chillin 🤣
I would use the mouse one in a hart beat , all depending on atction the mottle frog/fish , the fluro green whip like lizzrd and inthe shallow the little lobster for blues actually all of them in a hart beat . Again Lures catch more fisherman than fish . Still hard to beat a feather jig and soft plastic or popper .Another great video
Fantastic video! A challenge I'd love to see is every trout (or sorta prize fish) you switch lure. Start with obvious easy plastics and go through to something different each time. Say twitch-it into crab, into jerk bait type of thing. Love the content, grabbing a cap after this :)
I knew someone who added a 'rat-tail' of rabbit skin to a giant Crazy Crawler and took it on a Barra trip to the Territory. He was barred from using it. Turns out Crocs like mammals and it was a magnet for them.
I've got a cheap savagegear topwater rat that I always keep on hand simply because its got great hooks for some reason and is super obvious to fish, being completely white, so I can chuck it at most bust ups and the trevs love it. I also think that throwing something the fish aren't used to, like a big bright pink lure sometimes gets the bite after they've been watching natural 2 inch grubs swim past their face all day yew
hey Bowly love the vids man keep it up, i was wondering what your reel and rod setup is and what line you use i would appreciate it man. love your work keep it up
I was thinking that a cod would eat the budgie lure I caught a cod one day it had a bird in its gob and was very fresh still ,must of smashed him off the mangrove branch , cool lures awesome mate 👍
Hey Bowly! Just wanted to let you know that I'm pretty sure you use those budgie lures on Murray cod. They sit under where the budgies are roosting/hanging out and wait for them to fall in. I'd love to see a video of trying to catch a Murray cod with that funky Lil lure!
