@@riksanreaper6769 You're thinking of "Boo Diddlys" which actually were Boos first official name when they debuted in Super Mario Bros 3 (check out page 38 of the official manual: www.nintendo.co.jp/clv/manuals/en/pdf/CLV-P-NAACE.pdf ) They changed to "Boo Buddies" around the time Super Mario World came out, then after that, they were just Boos.

Other than going to a parade, traveling through time, going to the moon, and then blowing up, Mario also saved a zoo, went to a circus, threw a birthday for Yoshi, and entering a random race. He also met a purple car, who did those same things, other than blowing up.

These ads from the late 80's and 90's are absolute comedy gold purely because of how weird and bizarre they are. They are blursed ads, they are kind of entertaining but they can also be the stuff of nightmares.

There’s like actually a pretty interesting thing about how American dairy corporations made so many commercials like the one Peebs watched here, because they just bought up and stockpiled literally so much milk and had to find ways to sell it. You know those studies that say milk makes your bones stronger? They were funded by dairy corporations in order to make milk seem healthier to public, and therefore they could make more profits off milk. It’s just this crazy rabbit hole. Something similar happened with corn syrup I think.

@@ghostlyhousehorrors They bought milk because large dairy companies made more than was physically consumable for the masses, so they bought literal vaults worth of cheese. Not surprisingly most government stocks are reliant on extremely large dairy companies too. Canada has a similar thing with the Maple Syrup vaults, and actually a pretty infamous maple syrup heist. Capitalism at its finest.

I've seen some PlayStation commercials where the person slowly goes from playing on their couch to physically battling monsters from the game they're playing. So there are still commercials like that.

Remember back in the day when you went to Toys R Us and they had their games section. You took a ticket from under the game you wanted (if there were none, it was sold out) and you took the ticket over to a counter to give it to a person who would go into the back room to get the game for you.

Yes, I used to work in the games section of Toys R Us, and I would handle the tickets and give out the games to people from the booth they had. It was a fun job.

Peeb’s statement on doing this when he’s old made me think... This is a new industry, really only gaining traction in the past 10-11 years. What’s gonna happen when all these big creators get older and older? Are they going to do this when they’re in their 70s? What will a youtube retirement look like? We aren’t really there yet so we really don’t know.

Considering that RU-vidrs kind of fit the niche for the younger audiences that comedians filled for the older generations, they might age the same way they did. Granted, that doesn't mean that they will have any guarantee of being sustainable on their old videos due to RU-vid's pay scaling for even moderately old videos.
