Ikr! The only other comment section I can think that is pretty nice would be the Studio C comment section. (if you never heard of them, you should check them out. clean comedy)
Last night, a movie theater was robbed of one million dollars. The thieves took a large bag of popcorn, a combo meal, and a box of milk duds. Thank you for tuning in to this emergency newscast, now back to you, Jim.
thank u Becky now for the weather today's weather will be partly sunny with a snow shower in the evening and a rain shower in 20 minutes. back to u charlie
As a movie theater employee I would appreciate any of you who try these popcorn ideas to let me have a try, I would greatly appreciate a 7 layer popcorn 👌🏼😂 I mean an empty sack of beans would oddly enough not be the weirdest thing I would find while cleaning theaters 🤷🏻♀️
Junk Rat Well, not yet. I was kinda skeptical about it... You buy a medium popcorn and get like what... a hand full of M&M's at the top? :/ But obviously I want to try it anyway :P
+Eleanor Chadd I loved the hobbit. and just because it was a "bad" film wasnt Peter Jacksons fault its the directer who backed out of being the director for it after like a year and a half of planning and peter had to come in and start fresh with not much time. He made a great trilogy with the time and resources he had
I love you guys and I love your fans! Let me leave you all a hot tip on an estimated two years later: Movie theater employees actually do not care if you bring in outside food. What they would prefer is you don't empty your trash on the floor. There are conveniently placed trash receptacles on your way out of the theater. Happy viewing everybody!
I don't know if it's just in New Zealand, but there's the M&M movie trailer at the beginning of each movie, and a cell phone rings at an important part of the trailer ruining it, telling the audience to turn off their cell phones.
I’ve just finished watching today’sGMMs(5th Feb 2020) it was also popcorn based. it reminded me of this episode. It always makes me smile watching older episodes to see how much Rhett and Link have changed over the years.
Rhett: because nobody bring spoons to the cinema! Me: nobody brings guac, sour cream or jalapeños either? If you bring all that it’s not that hard to bring a spoon as well
I remember during a movie this one lady was on her phone and calling people THE WHOLE TIME! And she brought like 10 kids who were also talking and moving around. Also that lady had her brightness all the way up and had her ringer on!!! I’m still salty
Don't be a jerk about the popcorn buying? They're jerks for super-charging! Here in New York, it's like $8+ for a bag of popcorn. Meanwhile, you go to the bodega across the street and you can get large bags of popcorn for like $2. And then you buy a drink for like $2 and you are set. You save soooo much money.
Movie theatres make the majority of their money from concessions. That's the reason why they say "don't be a jerk." Just eat before or after the movie if you're not going to deal with their pricing.
+Papa Grimly Yeah, that's what we do these days. I don't actually smuggle in popcorn but I used to. I do smuggle in the occasional water bottle though.
