To be fair, Splatoon 2d's final boss is the final boss of Splatoon so making fun of that doesn't make much sense. It doesn't look to be a very good game, but you making fun of something they got right seems a bit unfair. They even made him attack the same way he did in Splatoon.

The first game was made by me at the age of 14. EDIT: since this video is gaining a lot of traction and people are coming to the game's page on scratch from this video, I thought I would elaborate a bit on the context of the game, Splatoon 2D. The game was made on scratch, a website where you can learn programmation by moving blocks and share your creations to the world. I loved scratch and would spend most of my free time there when I was younger. I was also a fan of Nintendo, and wasn't able to play splatoon because I didn't have a Wii U. So I "made the game myself" to be able to play it, that was the initial intention. The project was visited a lot, and I received a lot of comments that pushed me to improve it. Eventually, I uploaded an upgraded version separately with better graphics and a better engine. Both versions are still on scratch, on my page if you want to play them for yourself (my pseudo there is Nitttram). Eventually, I continued learning gamedev with other more "serious" tools and now make games on most of my free time. You can check the trailers of my latest games on my channel. Scratch was the best thing that could've happened to my childhood, and I still think it's an awesome place to learn programmation and to make social interactions with other people your age. I still think that Splatoon 2D was a cool project, and I would actually love to make a more serious 2D shooter inspired by Splatoon one day, as it is one of my favorite licenses.

the first, second and second to last games were made on scratch a kids website but its also a downloadable thing it doesn't have viruses from what i know of from using it for around 4 years

I also looooove splatoon 1 & 2 too, but the second game is much more phenomenal with the salmon run mode, gigantic specials, and amiibo, and the octoling DLC with challenging and rage inducing tests and bosses especially the girl power station. That level caused me to be raging a lot to beat that annoying level. Also that inner agent 3 fight was making me rage as well.

The MS Paint games are actually scratch games, you didn't need to download them onto your computer. Just look up on scratch.mit.edu "splatoon" and you've got a part 2.

Says bootlegs are the main attraction in the title of the video. Only features one actual bootleg in the video and claims the fan games are bootlegs aswell. Also makes fun of "MSpaint games" which were actually developed in Scratch, a very limited game creation program,. Those games were created by very young people just trying make an enjoyable fan game. This is why I don't watch Conner's videos anymore…
I have to agree; this episode was a bit... biased and didn't seem like it contained much research or anything. Honestly, I'm glad he didn't find MY unfinished Splatoon remake.
