I mean, it's obvious, quite a number of mistakes: - The creature is supposed to be nocturnal for exemple, but on the drawing at 5:17, it is portrayed in the fields exposed to the sun. - Or "Hot Dogs" written pretty fluidly, exept for the last letter written backward 🤨 (Don't see how a kid could make such a leap in the lapse of a short drawing).
I know what an ARG is, just pointing errors And believing paranormal can't possibly exist and always saying ARG without studying the material is as dumb as the people believing everything they see in my opinion 😂@@estanislaowvega9482
As far as I'm aware, the first one is a mask. That picture made its rounds on Facebook with people claiming it was real until people would post an Amazon link to the raptor mask.
That was not a tyrannosaurus. 5 feet tall, smart, nocturnal... Tyrannosaurus at at most 1 of those things but that's lacking evidence. Could be pointing twords more of something like a Utah raptor or dinanocus given the looks point to more recent studies of how it looks. I'll need to check what kinds of raptors would be native to the area. In all seriousness this is a fun story but I have massive doubts this is real and was the guy just having fun making a scary thread. Edit: I didn't mean that it wasn't fake so cease the sarcasm, at the time I only saw 5 min of it and was only listening so I assumed it was something real but he blew it up into a creepy pasta like many many people have done before.
Yes. They shouldn’t have made literally another park (biosyn) it was supposed to be dinosaurs running around in the real world killing people and us learning how to solve it
damn some people don't realise what an ARG is. I like how you fit into three camps with these 1 you don't know it's fake & believe this really happened (which for this works probably until you reach the point when its larger than the single area the guy lives but a young kid may believe past that or with some ARGs which act like its some parallel dimension such as the sun is gone ARG which I believed was real when I was younger) then you have the people who can tell its fake but miss the fact that its a story for entertainment & not designed to make you think its real kinda like a film but people are less likely to realise its an art form. Then you have the people who know its fake & just enjoy the story which I'd say is the majority of people who stick around. I always thought the ARG creator acount wasn't meant to interact with people in a way that admits its fake as the account is the character you are following in the story but then again there is no rules & its just hilarious as you said.
23:30 Imagine being a dinosaur from millions of years ago and sleeping on something that didn’t even exist back then but is so soft that it must feel like *heaven* It’s so friggin cute
there are quite a good few horror stories like this on twitter! I think the first one was this like "ghost kid" that had a deformed head or something idk
If raptors had that ability and still lived in this current era They would be the apex predator of all of whatever country they came from They would probably surpass humans on the foodchain in my opinion
The implications of the "weird bird" saying "Are you hungry? You want hotdog?" is absolutely horrifying considering the fact that we know that the neighbour's kid was feeding them hotdogs. Them saying "Daddy. Daddy. It's ok. Daddy." is also utterly terrifying as it sounds like a scared child talking to his dad. Also, the deeper voice when it says "It's ok." implies an older man, a father, trying to comfort his son in their last moments. Also, R.I.P Mike. Edit: If you're reading this and have finished the video, go check out part 2, NateDogg has covered it on his channel too.
I’m pretty sure arche stated Mike lived. I’m not sure though. Edit: Wait no that was only for the raptor in the attic incident. Mikey is done for sadly.
I like how the dinos seem to behave in ways that make sense for their ecological niches. The raptors are the most dangerous because humans are easily in their expected prey size range. So they quickly start adapting to prey on humans since their normal prey is unavailable. The microraptors are just as smart as raptors, but they're too small to pose a threat to a human. They behave a lot like modern-day corvids who are also intelligent, can be trained and will respond to kindness in kind. The T-rex or other large predator is actually not as dangerous as the raptors because it primarily subsists on much larger prey items. It's not actively interested in something as small as a human, kinda like a lion won't normally hunt a mouse. Edit: initially thought the microraptors were archaeopteryx
The "archaeopteryx" are actually Microraptors! They are some of the few dinos that we know what their plumage looked like thanks to excellent preservation of feathers, including iridescence. Very cute little guys with four wings (flight feathers are present on legs).
Very true. While i still don't recommend going near a Tyrannosaur or any similar large theropods. They for the most part won't immediately go after us humans, unless their desperate
@@vardiganxpl1698 Surprisingly some estimates put humans at the perfect size for a snack for a T. rex. Basically we were just big enough to make them feel full for the day (according to some estimates, again it varies a lot depending on the estimate) and so we might actually have been worth hunting for them. Probably not so much that they'd do a full on chase, but if they had a chance to ambush you, or just really wanted to eat/chase you for whatever reason (animals sometimes hunt for fun, after all) then they might actually kill and eat you. Assuming they even recognize you as prey, which predators usually don't recognize foreign creatures as prey. Dromaeosaurs are still the bigger threat because they definitely would view humans as worth chasing, especially if their normal prey wasn't around. It's not a "maybe" like with T. rex, but a "Definitely."
Similarly, while the herbivore dinosaurs definitely wouldn't see humans as possible prey, if they ever do show up they'll STILL be extremely dangerous, just like how Hippos and Elephants are extremely dangerous IRL. They don't want to eat you, they just sensed movement and hate your general existence on principle.
As a lot of comments have said, the “speaking” idea is genius, very good grasp of the fact that the birds don’t have any idea what the phrases mean, and so amalgamate them in random order, in the hopes they can get a reaction
i LOVE mimicry! it's one of my favourite horror tropes. The idea of something hearing you and trying to learn how to speak like you is more terrifying to me than most other things. It's the auditory uncanny valley
and what? It'd stop, and all of the portals and stuff would disappear?Or should he have taken the true American route, and just started shooting?(Lol, second one should've been the US Military)
What’s crazy is that when the “Weird bird” is saying “daddy, daddy? It’s ok.” I learned from pt2 that it mimics the last words of its prey to attract more prey. So the neighbors child was probably scared and the dad was trying to comfort him!
@datboyglitch9767 it's arguably worse. With Many Voices are actually sentient, and the foundation documents two children entities that talk about their relationship with their parents and such.
especially because in context, the weird bird is repeating that because it just killed the neighbor and his son. the son likely was already attacked and the father was trying to console him while hyperventilating before they were both murked. awful (and fantastic) stuff told through unspoken words.
@@celticfoxisn't fiddlesticks the one that Kellen Goff voices same guy as Funtime Freddy from five nights at Freddy's and overhaul from my hero academia
anything with glowy eyes in the dark and blood in their mouth is scary, if you saw a wolf like that you would be scared, even a rabbit can be scary if it's represented like that. I think dinosours in mainstream are slowly becoming monsters and getting away from being animals
8:21 when the animal was talking I could make out the words “I’m hungry” don’t know if anyone else noticed that but I really wanted to point that out. Also those weird screaming sounds are like something from a horror movie, same with the weird sounds in the basement. This is quite literally like a horror movie or a living nightmare… or both…
They arent evil, just following their instincts to survive, with some minor adaptations like the large dromeosaurs mimicking human speech, Mikey the archaeopteryx (could be wrong about him being an archaeopteryx) rolling with a pack (dont know if thats true or not already since we know little about the archaeopteryx), and the Baryonyx (could be wrong) in the tunnels
the troodons (the ones that talk) are tho. like hell even the other dinosaurs don't like them. I don't care if they "need food" go hunt a deer or something, the humans fight back with real weapons.
What's creepy about this story is raptors probably could mimic prey. Plenty of cats, and modern birds mimic there prey to ambush them. So raptor could've done this, but we'll never know.
We do have living raptors, they're called the maniraptoran dinosaurs. This includes modern birds. A few traits can be brought back to make them actual raptors.
@@gzilla783oh like when scientists discovered how to bring out the dinosaur traits in chickens but decided to just, not do that? I was so disappointed when I found out that we could have seen real “dinosaurs”(quotation marks because they wouldn’t be the same as historical dinosaurs) but they just didn’t
@SpiderkillersInc I meant I thought this was about a true story. So I thought the first photo was an actual bird (from our time). (Hence why the terror came full force!)
The fact the raptors are capable of mimicry and intelligent enough to somewhat understand what to say to make you lower your guard is honestly more frightening then their size. It’s smart enough to study you, that’s honestly super creepy and I love it
Raptors have feathers to so these creatures can be types of raptors of smth i dunno. Edit:I just realized raptors have pellets, and in the beginning he found pellets with some turtle bones i am freaked outrn.
I just rewatched this for a fourth time, i just passed the part with the buck trying to find shelter and THE DAMN RAPTOR ONE LAUGHS AT IT WHEN THE AUDIO RECORDING OF TYE DEER WAILING IN PAIN IS PLAYING HOLY HECK

I shouldnt have started this in the dark. Absolutely sent shivers down my spine. Loving birds, studying them, and having a few exotic birds myself, i immediately felt a panic when i heard the raspy 'help. Its ok' because they did SO good at making it sound like birds mimicking things. I never thought about raptors being able to 'speak' to lure in prey. Gosh, this whole thing is so well thought out and amazing.
A humming bird got trapped in my garage when I was 5 . My 11 year old sister tried to capture it in a card board box. It flew straight toward her face with that sharp beak and she lifted the box to guard her face. The beak pierced through the box and stopped right in front of her forehead. I’ve been terrified of anything with feathers since then. That look in a Birds Eye gives me so much anxiety . So emotionless and empty .
Hummingbirds are aggressive birds. They fight each other with specialized beaks that have hooks or are serrated. They are territorial and fight a lot even for those plastic feeders people put up
The idea of the winter killing the creatures is based on the fact that earth was hotter in the Mezozoic, winters werent that cold and actual snow was way harder to form in places that werent the poles, that dude is not only talented, but also got a lot of knowledge, thats what makes this story amazing.
My god, I hate the fact that the bird learned to talk and accidentally caputured the exact moment when the kid was dying, and the dad was trying to comfort him (I believe that’s what the things the bird was saying was trying to convey)
I like how the raptor progressively begin to use language that attracts “prey”. At first it’s just a mindless repetition “You hungry…you want hotdog?” Then later it’s distinctively “come here” in clear English, absolutely terrifying.
Mikey is such a cute dinosaur *(regardless of him being fake)* its so sweet reading him sharing his food with arch and even helping him escape the other dinosaur/demon creatures
Weird Birds is one of my favourite internet horror stories. Twitter threads are such a unique way of telling a story, and it works so well. It reminds me of that one “where’d the sun go” one.
It’s creepy because the first thing I noticed was the second set of eyes in the back of that picture and then the little kids drawing reassured that there was definitely a second thing
@@aperson336how can you tell something real if nothing makes sense nowadays? That is prob why they were afraid, it only shows how humans are weak, fragile and forgettable we cower and lie when confronted with danger, no wonder God(if it exists) no longer talks to us in person, he is utterly disgusted toward us, just like how i am disgusted towards myself, humanity always wanted to refuse it, but in death it always comes back. I love how there were comments on the side saying stuff like "I thought I blocked you" and "Fake"... like brother- just go on with your day, we know it's fake, but it's still fun to watch this adventure anyways
It gets annoying when you block somebody for something and a bunch of people just keep reposting screenshots and recording of the thing youre trying to get away from it. Ive blocked a bunch of account on twitter to avoid seeing certain things on my feed but considering that twitter, just like instagram, will show you everything but what you want to see and bring shit back just because you saw it once
@@crownedroyal738 but still, i would just either ignore the posts and stop trying to block it, or just check out whatever it is everybody is so hyped for. it was that way with the digital circus for me.. i hated it, but then i finally just caved in to watching it, and i suppose i understand the hype (my entire home page is digital circus shit, it will not stop)
i'm not very affected by ARGs and the like, but this one actually filled me with dread. my irrational fear as a little kid was always dinosaurs, and even now as an adult i can't say it has completely gone away. from the first picture of the dinosaur i was already hooked and terrified. this was so good. side note, everytime the screenshots included a comment it was kinda funny to see how bitter twitter users are that they even get mad at ARGs. like those people do not like fun lol
The fact that the micro raptor was in the dog cage is just so calming compared to the hell hole is going on in this story Mikey was a good soup. RIP :(
I like how these are completely normal animal abilities recontextualized as horror. Parrots and crows can mimic human voices. The hoatzin bird can emit a foul smell. Other pack hunters like lions and wolves emit loud calls to signal their territory. According to one theory, baby rexes not only looked feathery and different from the adults, but led things back to their parents like bait
Also, note that all of the "weird birds" look exactly like scientifically accurate dinosaurs, so maybe these activities come from the very past. I can see it happening, just not with human voices... It's a great hunting skill, they study a species' different sounds, discover their meanings and imitate them to lure their victims... Honestly, nature is amazing, though sometimes scary at the same time.
In fact, cats and Tigers can also mimic the voices of other animals to lure them in, there's a video of a tiger looking at cows and mooing like a cow, also there's a tin of videos of cats that sound lke they're mimicking human language
what i love about the part in which they learn how to "speak" more normal, is the fact that they had to learn it from an actual person. which means the words "don't worry, it's ok" or "please help, somebody" means that they learned that most likely from stalking and killing people. I find that pretty interesting and a nice detail to think about (also i haven't watched the full video yet and i'm posting this beforehand so if something like this is mentioned already then don't mind me yapping.)
This just strengthens the fact that scientifically accurate dinosaurs can be way more terrifying than the giant lumbering depictions we usually see of them.
Well at least the flock will have a semi warm and fresh meal, hopefully the flock will get to live on to the end of this confusing situation for them all
Man it knew he picked up and checked out childrens shoes so it got some more. Overall the cold seemingly is from the old world as the rifts opened for a little bit at a time.
I watched this a couple hours ago, and lets just say this is amazing! This is such a breath of fresh air cause of how the media depicts dinosaurs in horror movies with the "big ol roaring movie monster" type deal. The scene with the troodontid on the attic was honestly terrifying, and the clips of the tyrannosaurid calling out genuinely sent shivers down my spine. Overall everything was amazing! And RIP Mikey, you were a good little microraptor(?)
the whispering bird definitely entranced me. I have never seen such a wonderful display of inhuman mimicry without knowing the nuances of conversation; it was just desperately trying to get its prey outside of its den.
Just so y’all know the loud rumbling noises are clips of a shoebill stork giving a warning call They’re about 5-6 feet tall very raptor like and would be truly terrifying to come across in the dark
I love the implications; Kiwi-Birds have non-flight-feathers resembling fur; Horned-Owls appear to have crop-point-ears; birds in general have a high-heel-gait and densely-crouched-poses with cryptic coloration, some birds are adroit mimics: that said, when everything is blurry these bird-cryptids look like wolf or bear or dog-man, wouldn't be surprised if so many cryptids turned out to be various raptors.

Dude I remember seeing this randomly popping up in my feed a few months back. I jumped down the rabbit hole and followed this up until Mikey disappeared and then they just kinda.. stopped showing up in my feed. Glad you posted the whole thing! Such a cool idea for a story!
I’m at the part in the video where he realizes he left his charger upstairs and his phone is at 3%. my favorite part about this so far is the fact that he sent his dog to his grandma‘s house because he knew it was not safe for it.
I like how the stray dogs are starting to adapt to and even compete with the raptors possibly sticking together in larger packs knowing there’s strength in numbers.
This Twitter thread is proof that accurate feathered dinosaurs can be and absolutely are terrifying in the right context. It's so annoying when people say "oh but featheres aren't scary" when birds can be genuinely terrifying sometimes, from what they do to how they act to how some look. Feathered dinosaurs can absolutely be used in a horror project and Archesuchus proves it with their story!
Dromaeosaurids running amock in present day America that can mimic the sounds AND voices of their prey just like a few of their modern counterparts is a genius idea and FREAKING TERRIFYING. The one Raptor saying “Come here” had my eyes wide open and my back shivering. I think this is one of the best ways to make a dinosaur horror story work so well.
The most terrifying part to me was the fact that there was a head of one of the Raptors implying that there was something even more deadly and bigger lurking around and hunting.
It would be the most terrifying thing if dinosaurs just randomly came back, but I really do appreciate the person who made the dinosaur bendable statues, the really cute, especially Mikey
I have an idea about them coming back.. so later in the story the main character said he thought those glowing lights could be wormholes and I don’t think he was far off the reason why is because I think that the glowing lights were wormholes opening up in time and dinosaurs were going through them into modern day time. Now I don’t know how the military didn’t stop this in a few weeks Ik they can be smart but a big enough wall or gun could kill any given dinosaur. Although I presume that there prob evac zones kinda like the ones in the last of us but anyway from context it seems the town or city he is in or goes to is looted. And pretty early on he states he hears gun shots screaming and ect.. that probably meant the police or army were trying to kill whatever a could orrrr it could be those men in suits with a weird badge that had a globe on it.
25:06 dude, they made it extra frightening because the guy says ' but i dont see nothing ' when you can legit see small eyes in the corner, and its so close too, i legit got mini shivers when i sww it that close help.
