Here's some advice from a fisherman who regularly uses micro/small bodied jigs and plastics, you must take all factors into consideration and adapt. In this instant since the water was clearer than usual and visibility was on the fishes side, you would have had better success not using a bobber. In my personal experience the fish are reluctant to bite with such an obvious anchor point on the waters surface. If you find yourself fishing an hour without a bite or descent hookup, simply adjust your setup and technique. Hope this helps you out in future fishing expeditions and seriously keep up the amazing work!

I got a plastic baby from the craft store, glued and tied it to a bass hook, and caught a bass. Turns out bass will eat a 1” human baby.

Used to use little gold salmon egg hooks bare to catch tiny green sunfish to use as live baits for bass. They'd chomp the bare gold hooks like candy.

You have me hooked (no pun intended) on these tiny lures. I've been going to my local fishing spots and have had limited success with my usual baits. After tying on these micro lures I have been killing it! Love catching bluegill and crappie. Cant wait for your next unique micro lure

I would try to hang that under a tiny bubble float. Tiny jig baits fished weightless under a trout magnet float or as a tiny drop shot with a bb on the back end of work well in little streams.

Nowadays its all about the "Big one"....................I would rather catch 100 panfish on an ultralight than on large bass on normal tackle! UL is the way to go! I also seem to also catch more bass fishing with tiny lures! Great Video!

Would you like to try reduce your braid test up to 0.15PE (0.06 mm or so I'm sorry I'm not a native english speaker and imperial units guy) use a rod test 0.3 - 3 gr, regular or slow test for example. At this case you don't need a bobber and your casts will be much accurate and you will enjoy more every tiny fish you catch. Peace!

If you want to try something really small then you should try some soft plastic maggots, you would probably need to use a size #14 or even #16 hook on maybe a split shot rig

Initial attempt to try out a new zebco open reel and rod on a local stream, I did not know how to close reel with the little knob on the reel. Spooled off half the line before I decided to just cut the tangle off and drop a line from the nearby bridge. Unseen was a knot made on the reel by accident when I restrung the line. I had waited an hour and a half for the bus to take me there, and another hour and a half in the sun waiting for it to come around by the time I gave up. Plan was to catch one fish--way too ambitious. Plan should have been learn how to use and open reel before you try to catch anything with it! From there it has been live and learn each time I go out. Now I can spend hours casting without one tangle and I uploaded the line myself. I have tied the fisherman's knot about 1000 times on more than 100 different kinds of bait from bare hooks to Heddon's Tiny Torpedo and a wooden mouse with metal flaps inherited from someone, I forget whom. Total catch this month so far 5 bait volunteers blue-gill and baby bass, 2 bluegill about 3 inches, 2 warmouth long-ear hybrids, one bass keeper. Have been to three lakes so far. Not bad. So it is totally okay for you to keep it real with this bloopers video--things do not go wrong very often so enjoy it and laugh big when you can!

I hate the days where it's really sunny and the sediment in the water has settled to make it clear. You can look in the shallows and see no are present.Especially doesn't help when there's absolutely no chop in the water. I had a couple of experiences like this in the past week.
