The fighting game that they showed Weiss in is called BlazBlue: Cross-Tag Battle. It’s a tag-team fighting game made by Arc System Works that crosses over characters from BlazBlue, Undernite: In-Birth, Persona 4 Arena, Arcana Heart, and RWBY. All of Team RWBY is in the game actually. It’s pretty fun, and I’d recommend it if you like 2D fighting games, though keep in mind that most if the characters are DLC. Also, coincidentally, Mitsuru is also in the game as a Persona 4 Arena character, which is pretty cool considering this Death Battle.
@@epsyblue7714 Chad from Bleach? Yeah, he only one-shotted some fodder guy that was dozens of times weaker than him and sent him flying (team rocket style) for comedic effect. Besides that I don't think he ever won a real canon fight.
Honestly give Persona a crack. There are 6 main games but since you play Smash Ultimate, Persona 5 would be a great intro to the series. But do play Persona 3 but beware that the gameplay might be considerably rigid and slow compared to Persona 5 (Persona 3 was released in 2006 and became the building block for subsequent series, hence the comparative rigidness and slowness). Persona 5 takes around 100 hours to storm through so just take your time if you decide to play it
Persona 2 IS & EP are also great, although they are fairly different to the subsequent games, and so I would recommend them as well, but only AFTER playing 3, 4 and 5.
Honestly, the character parallels work really well. Which is why I wish they didn’t do it so soon. Mitsuru’s powerset is at End Game levels, but Weiss JUST unlocked full control of her semblance like a month ago, in canon time. None of the RWBY characters are at Salem Slaying power levels yet and they’re obviously going to grow. And I doubt they’d do a rematch once Weiss has had more time and room to grow as a fighter (and maybe actually win a few 1vs1 fights...). It’s really no question why it was so one sided.

I'm a big fan of both shows and I'm happy with the outcome, I don't care what people say about how bias they might be towards RWBY or that they only made this to say there not. The animation was amazing, the fight was great, the voice acting was awesome (especially hearing weisses actual voice actor do her stuff) this was awesome. But also, I love John so much. But captain falcon in his movie basically made a falcon punch nuke, Johnny is gonna get wombo comboed into the next season.

Ow! My RWBY heart. But for reals,I really didn't think weiss could win. I love weiss, but you cant deny the fact that she is not best when it comes to one-on-one combat she is far more of a support than a fighter.Dont get me wrong,she has some skills in fighting but again she is a supporter.In every battle she has won her team was there to back her up. And even with her glyphs she is very limited due to her lack of experiences with other dust types.She has used multiple types of dust before mainly ice.I hope we see more of her mastering different dusts. Its funny she didnt take full advantage of Fire dust but then again, she isnt as specialized in other dusts other than ice... This was a bad-luck pairing for her and her ice. I love both, buuut i was more on Mitsurus side for this one. Sorry Weiss :x
Her only chance is to use her time dilation and manage an instant kill, Weiss could not slowly wear down Mitsuru because of her healing and her durability. Unfortunately fo Weiss, there are more ways Mitsuru can win than Weiss can win.
I remeber I watched this ep of Death Battle before I watched Rwby But even then It's really hard to top Mitsuru and I knew she would win And now after I watched the whole show from Vol1 to Vol7 I still think she would win, Mitsuru just has more cards on her sleeves and more experience in general with what she can and can't do

Isn't it ironic that exactly after Ben 10 VS Green Lantern does come such a We-are-not-biased episode. Also just compare the brutal death from Ben to the Knock-Down of Weiss. But nevertheless they are still doing on their show a phenominal job.
Ben 10 versus Green Lantern was biased because they severely nerfed Ben. And made Green Lantern stronger than he should have been. Just to give an example Green Lantern's time travel to defeat Alien X would not have worked

The Ben 10 versus Green Lantern was one of the most biased ones I've seen. Don't get me wrong I love death battle but it can't be argued that they're not biased.
@@whocares6757 They specifically stated they expected Ben 10 to win when they first planned the match-up. The research didn't support it once the numbers where crunched. It's not bias it's the fact that DC characters have a long history of ridiculous feats.
@@Animaniac0451 they created a composite version of Hal Jordan combining multiple different versions of him. the one that could time travel is the one that was weak to Yellow. The current Green Lantern who is not weak dll cannot time travel. And even if you could time traveling takes all of his rings energy and erases his memory
@@Animaniac0451 also time travel wouldn't work because Alien X can also travel through time. They even had Alien X use his time powers in the battle but said that time travel could somehow beat him.
@@Animaniac0451 also Green Lantern wouldn't have been able to cut off Ben's arm because the Omnitrix Fail-Safe. people in Ben 10 the show have tried to cut off Ben's arm or take the Omnitrix off in other ways but they always fail
I think the biggest problem with Ben 10 vs Green Lantern is the fight animation itself. Like Wiz states in the post battle analysis here, they go over many different possible outcomes and see who would win more times than not. Ben 10's power IS limited in uses compared to the Green Lantern Power Ring, but they way they showed GL winning made everyone call BS. But like you guys, I was ready to stop taking these things seriously if Weiss won. Out of all of Team RWBY, she has had the fewest solo victories overall.

Yeah- for as great as the animation was, Weiss was kind of screwed from the start since Mitsuru has healing and is immune to ice- a bad combination for Weiss since her best tools revolve around ice.
Jack Phillips ok let me say this easy ^^ after all that damage misuru would be suffering some heavy mental strain so using the envoker to force summon her persona would mean if wiess hit it misuru would have dropped from mental strain
@@eacowind8936 that's the thing with Death Battles neither combatant knows each other so Weiss would have assumed Mitsuru was going to kill herself instead of summoning a Persona.
Fun fact, the "death" they showed was basically just a BlazBlue Cross Tag Battle style KO animation and Myrtenaster breaking. That just tells me ScrewAttack didn't have the balls to actually KILL Weiss in case they upset Rooster Teeth. And that kinda ruined the mood for me, because these biases are starting to ruin their content. Another point that popped up is that Mitsuru could just use Spirit Drain to absorb power from Weiss's Aura, depleting it and empowering herself. Aura is described as the manifestation of one's soul, and soul is basically another word for spirit
Noctis Lucis Caelum Nah. Weiss is still alive, even when Rooster Teeth has to make a character of theirs lose in Death Battle, they can’t bring themselves to kill them.

In the bloopers video, Chad asks if Weiss dies. Ben says yes, Chad chuckles, and sings "🎵We're gonna kill our company's character🎵" mockingly. I think they they enjoy their jobs too much.
I mean, the 3-D animations tend to be a lot more clean, Snake vs Sam is perhaps the only one that has the most gore, I would of liked to see some blood, but a lot of gore was never going to be added.
The like:dislike ratio on the video is actually pretty good, so they clearly don't mind it all that much. I'm a RWBY fan, and I would've been pissed if Weiss won, because she's weak as fuck, especially compared to a Persona user. I'm glad they did this fight, because it erases that "Roosterteeth bias" that's been suspected ever since the Yang vs Tifa fight.

the issue with that is lucina is a human with a sword das it sure its a legendary sword but it doesn't have much power and weiss can just stab her once or freeze her solid
I really liked the death battle but I still Weiss should have won that. She did after all stab Mitsuro in the chest I don’t know how a diarhama healed that but still it’s a great fight and I love bury characters x
Dia the weakest version ,Diarama the medium version and diarahan the level 3 version and salvation it ressurects /heals a target and purges them of status effects
@@euyemura123 Sure about that because every time i used it it ressurected the target other than the user and healed their status effects but i could be thinking that about a different spell
That depends on which source material you are working with. persona anime/movies: Really bad makes their user recoil in pain and they have to rest for a bit in order to get their stamina back The fighting games: barely noticeable they will be back in 10 seconds with no noticeable effect on their users stamina But persona's also happen to be a LOT more durable in the anime/movies, while in the fighting games it takes only a couple of blows to break one.
@@demonreaperkit8443 Honesty it's the best way to handle these things, if they had Mitsuru be disabled by her persona breaking people would be pissed and cite the arena games as a reason why that shouldn't happen. They also would not be wrong so the're is no good answer to this situation.
appelofdoom true but they also did this with Ben 10 vs green lantern. They take characters and composite them and mix and merge different versions to fit their need. I’m okay with the outcome however I just don’t like how they do it to be honest.
