I was an LA Rams fan in 1977. I recognized defensive tackle Larry Brooks instantly. People who know Larry Brooks say he is a super nice guy. Larry Brooks was the D-line coach of a Packers Super Bowl winning team. He deserved a Super Bowl ring.
I always remembered that particular scene and was lucky enough to find it on RU-vid. I loved that show when I was a kid. Comedies are so much different than back in the day and the ones today aren't even funny in my opinion.
I agree with your comment.👍.As a show that is no longer funny(my opinion) I was thinking of Saturday Night Live.Back in the early years it was funny. It had many funny actors on the show. Today me and my friends watch the entire show with a straight face.We rarely laugh.I stopped watching the show altogether.
Epstein whistle LMAO!! Classic! .. That is the most EVIL version of " worms crawl in , worms crawl out" .. I've ever heard . He sounds like a serial killer LOL. R.I.P Robert Hegyes
This is too true. My group of friends messed with all the teachers except for Mr. Z, who was built like a bodybuilder. One time I asked them, this being the 90s and teachers couldn't hit students anymore, why they didn't mess with him, it wasn't like he could hit them or anything. They were like "You never know!"
I think with the first one, he acts so nervous talking to them that Juan knows he can pull the drawing gag. Same with the second one to a lesser degree. When he sees the third one and it's a big black man, he's like, "Oh, shit!"
That big black teacher could've pulverized the entire sweathog gang inside of a minute! Wow! That dude was a veritable monster, compared to any of the sweathogs!!!
looking foreward to watching this on ME TV in april. Mr. Woodman's voice is memorable and droned in my head ever since I heard about WBK being on ME TV even before I watched this clip.
The part they didn't show was when the Sweathogs tried to clean Kotter's apt. and just messed it up, like Epstein with the out of control vacuum cleaner.
Yeah... but-That look on his face, when that third teacher walked in. That dude looked like a Linebacker!!! Needless to say, Juan removed that third drawing-FAST!!!!!
Does anyone remember the episode where they get left alone in a classroom and when somebody comes in one of them, I think Arnold, is telekinetically moving a desk?
It's a shame the network doesn't put these reruns in syndication. I love me some "Welcome back Kotter" featuring the Sweat hogs lol. I ended up ordering the whole series pack on Amazon.
@@ACD1994 Unfortunately, I don't have antenna tv. so, I had to order the collection discs in order to watch them again. But thanks for letting me know.
Not "fight", but to discipline if they get out of hand. This was a class room for "troubled students", who got kicked out of the normal classes. My schools back then had no such thing, but a teacher would discipline a student once in a while. In my young teen days, (Michigan USA), a teacher could use a wooden paddle and smack your azz for punishment for something, but that has been made illegal.
I remember I had hair just like that..in fact..of all the Sweathogs ..I think I related more to Epstein then any one else .I had the afro as I mentioned.I also dressed very much like him as well. I remember a Teacher too..the mans name was Ostrander..he looked for the world like Mr Woodmen..yet his personality..ways of doin stuff..sence of humer..the good vibes I got from the man....was a DEAD ringer to Mr Gabe Kotter...and if that wasnt enough...he was also a fan of the Brothers Marx..grins
