WOW! That is so AWESOME! That Berkshire #757 IS truly home! And appropriately enough being pulled by a former NORFOLK WESTERN SD40-2! 6183! Well theirs one less steam locomotive to see at the PENNSYLVANIA RAILROAD MUSEUM in Strasbourg Pa. But now the Mad River RAILROAD MUSEUM finally has a steam locomotive! Nickel Plate ROAD Berkshire #757!!

757 will only be cosmetically restored. The roundhouse podcast did a inderview with the museum vice president dwayne fuehring. He said the museum has no intention of operating 757. If by some marical that a future generation has the opportunity to restore 757 to operation. It will be here for it.

Scraped?! Scrapped I believe is what your saying. No thankfully Berkshire #757s been kept on display at the PENNSYLVANIA RAILROAD MUSEUM in Strasbourg Pa. For many years! It's great now that she's truly on home rails an has a home to call her own!!
