finally a Welcome Home fan content that doesn't sexualize the characters this feels cheap like Candle Cove should be, and im not saying this to offend, this is incredible, It actually feels like a lost episode of a obscure cartoon, and i like how Frank seems to notice something's wrong

Why does this feel like that one tv show you watched as a kid and you either get a lot of nostalgia from it or realise that it was really creepy

Its so interesting how Frank is like "Huh? But-" and then the camera immediatly cuts and goes to the next part. This is exactly the creepy and weird aura that i like. It just makes everything in this video feel a... Mystery.

I love the fact that despite nothing actually horrifying or scary happening other than a few odd cuts here and there, that this still managed to be unsettling.

As soon as Frank decided to be sassy, as he was explaining the definintion of "sanctuary," it cut to Home wagging its eyes back and forth to say "NO," and then suddenly Wally is standing behind Frank with pitch black eyes in the next scene. Then, as Frank is trying to explain, you can see Wally's shadow start to move towards him.

I feel... weird watching this

This video is such a trance and uniquely unsettling when it wants to be. Yeah Wally doing the single ladies dance is funny af but the music choices and sudden cuts are also well done.

I like the tapes! This would be a good vibe and way to add lore + plot to Welcome Home. As in this episode, it shows how as time progresses in each episode, the other characters start to catch on to something in the neighborhood not being right (as shown through Frank's thought bubbles). This also could be a way to learn why the show just stopped airing

I love how Frank was looking at Wally like "the butterfly is right there, idiot."

This could just about pass for the actual show from the 1960s - 70s! Good job neighbor!!

Since all the butterflies were presumably inside of Home, I’d like to imagine that Wally just went inside and saw all the butterflies just flying around.

I really like this, meaning I can understand how it has some canon elements, such as it being some sort of a psychological horror, Frank being known as the neighborhood genius, how Wally is seeming a bit creepy and odd in ways, and many others that may list if i looked into more of the details if there is any more, that is. :] Very nice work if I do say so Myself!

Part of me is a little sad that Welcome home blew up and isn't just a special little niche in the corner of the internet... but then theres another part of me who is hella happy that we get wonderful pieces of fan work like this!

Honestly when I was a kid I used to watch bootleg 1980's animated films that looked and sounded like this so kudo's for capturing that nostalgia.

I love this! I like how it has canon events, such as Frank loving butterflies, Wally talking to *you,* and the viewer, as well as his house, and the fact that he sings Beautiful Dreamer. The way it's set up is amazing! It has a weird vibe to it, almost nostalgic like, and it makes you feel a certain way. I really do love it! (EXCEPT THEY ARENT PUPPETS GRGRGRG /j) Anyways, nice work! I hope to see more in the future, I've been looking forward for someone to make lost episodes for Welcome Home for a long time now! :)

I love the little detail with the definition of sanctuary going from (Home) to (noun)

Despite this being made before the July 2023 update that solidified the characters' voices and personalities, as well as what a typical day in the Neighborhood might look like, this fanwork feels the most on-point to the horror side of Welcome Home for some reason. It feels foreboding rather than outright terrifying, with a lot of questions left unanswered and a sort of realistic dim lighting that makes the setting all the more fitting. This is going to be interesting to look back on once the official Welcome Home project's story is more revealed.

Edit, so I rewatched the video and I saw Wally and deformed house at 1:10 (press the arrows back and forth to see it). 1:04 Wally in the background, you can see the shadow moving before that. Overall camera cuts are well done.

Has anyone decoded the message at the end yet? All I can muster out is “You’ll [have?]…” “I will [see?]….[day?]” The rest is barely readable.

I loved this show growing up! I'm so glad so many people are trying to recover elements of the show, even just this one episode reminds me of waking up early every weekend to watch this with my sister who I have now grown fairly far apart with. I did always find some parts of it quite earie even in my younger years, the long pause after Wally said goodnight to home ever episode still gives me an uneasy feeling.
