Still not a patch on Fratton Park, The grand old lady may be old, the food may be crap and you might not wanna read the paper on the toilet but what you do get for your dough is the best atmosphere your ever likely get for a 19000 crowd. Cant wait until she gets a major revamp and its a 32000+. Afterall it never matters what the groung looks like, theres just no point having a nice looking stadim that has no atmosphere, its total pointless and over half the newly built 'bowls'/grounds, in the country are just that! Middle classes and the posh knobs have once again stuck their slimey beaks into a working mans game and totally ruined it!
I guarantee if Fratton Park gets revamped into a 32,000 seater then your Atmosphere will decline. Guaranteed pal its happened to more a less every club in this country.
