Also sometimes you have to see the good side: The name „Avicii“ is directly linked to his music which spreads motivation and inspiration embodying positivity which influences so many people, helping humans all around the globe.♥️

I am Marc - nearly 59 years of age, a global citizen having lived in many countries. I am happily married for more than 40+ years, with two grown up sons 30 ans 29 years young. I have always been an avid lover of special musicians and music, a Guetta and Techno fan for life, plus many other wonderful artists as well, along many other more exotic streams of music. But I must admit that Tim was not only superbly special but unfortunately also superbly vulnerable to this industry as we now know. Tim has not only been one of the most superb musicians and DJs I have ever enjoyed, and still enjoy, every day! He was one of the most humble, emotional and human superstars and persons I enjoyed living in this hard and fast changing industry, exposed severely to many temptations this world and business bring along. And I am happy that at least this tragic but superb life is celebrated with an arena in his name. I am Swiss. living in Thailand but I am always - as is my wife - very impressed with the generally very humanistic Scandinavian culture and heart. Thanks to Stockholm for honouring not only Tim but also his family, Tim's life and his tragic story. Let us all help to avoid any such tragedy going forward. But thank you for this effort - I WILL definitely visit the Avicii Arena one day - to pay my respects! And here is my personal message to Klas, Tim's father: I cry with you! And thank you for driving the message! Several years ago, I sent both of my boys a link to your son's song: The Nights !!! It is about YOU of course. You are THAT father - and I am one too - and I cry with you that this happened FAR too early and we parents should never have to experience this ordeal. I feel your sorrow and I feel your pain, just by imagining or listening! Thank you and your surely equally superb wife to give the world a son who impacts so positively on so many lives of all generations out there. Heal! Be proud (and I know you are), move on (and I know you do), MANY out there love and are proud of Tim and You all. You made him who he was and we all felt his pain but could not help. And we all are sad with you that he is no longer amongst us and sharing with us. But I hope my words at least comfort a bit, maybe help you and your family. And I am just a normal guy out there. I’m in tears. When I was a teenager, Tim gave to me a lot of strength through his music, the lyrics and the rhythm always made me feel strong and like I could achieve anything in life! My dark days suddenly didn’t seemed so dark when I listened to his music. Mental health is a matter of importance. He touched a lot of lives all around the world, including mine, and now through this Avicii Arena, he’ll continue helping and inspiring young people. Thank you for this! You’ll always be in our hearts Tim!

Avicii was such a great artist and humane man, I still can't come to terms with the fact that he left us forever. I shivered as I watched this video. It will stay in our hearts forever. Thank you Bergling family for fighting for a better day and spread awareness about mental health. I'm suffering from a serious depression since child. I'm a fan of Tim since 2012 his music brought happiness to my life, and now I was inspired to spread awareness about mental health and join the fight against mental health stigma. At the age of 18, my son fell ill with a very severe depression, 6 years of mental terror with suicidal thoughts and as a parent constantly being prepared 24/7 for his possible suicide. He had jobs, many good, close friends, social, funny, nice, intelligent, the girls liked him, he was healthy and physically fit etc. But his depression overshadowed everything as the super strong impuls of wanting to commit suicide is like an unbearable mental terror - the only way out for him, as he saw it, was to end the suffering by taking his own life. Killing himself. Anyway, in his case it ended happily. One day, at the age of 24 the depression was gone. He was fully recovered! He was healed. But we knew, both my son and I, that it could have easily ended in an opposite way. It was so close it ended in a grave in the cemetery. We lived with that for 6 years. But he made it through. He went to hell - and he came back🙏 There's hope for everyone who is mentally tortured by their own thoughts, that they just want to kill themselves. A severe depression will not be the end. To me, his parting is one of the hardest and most uncomfortable reality in celebrity demise. I've never realized that I like Tim that much though I was literally mesmerized by his songs. I felt really sorry for his mental hardships and physical pains along the journey. Though we lost the legend, his legacy will stay left forever. Love you Tim!
Whitout music I couldn't push on. Especially his music. Listening each day his music it motivates me to go on. Despite one of my dreams been gone,but its legacy will live on. So will I.

I don't think i have seen a more deserved and just way to give Tim a legacy that will live on, just as Tim started to breakthrough as an artist i used to chat to him on facebook and he was a quiet, honest and humble person, we talked about various synth vst plugins and daw's he was just Tim.
2012 - 2018 was my best years with avicii music and seeing him live...since then ..I feel empty and dead without his music... RIP my brother we love you

I was in depression for like 8 years but when i listen to avicii i dont know why i want to leave this world behind i dont know why this thought comes again and again becose of the strong lyrics of his songs or melodies.. But after i listen to x you from that day i learn how to leave your anxity and sadness behind... The melody of the song aviciii make with his happy soul....
