Seeing Mikel come from the youth tournament as a young superstar, i always felt he deserved more than what Chelsea was making him offer back then, especially when you remember how good he was in the same tournament with the likes of Messi, Aguero, and Taiwo etc. However, looking back now on how he handled his role at Chelsea, i think he made the right choice. Despite not blessing us with goals and his playmaker finesse ability we know he has, he did a wonderful job as a defensive midfield player at Chelsea.
