Dude the little kid saying he helped with the skull fort and then they would kill him. That crushed my soul. We literally had a kid say that last night doing an Ashen wind event and we let him take all the loot. Made that kids week.

Yea but that kid was a sweatlord in disguise, just put on the GSD gear (sure it isn't THAT hard to get, but still takes time and effort and you need to learn to naval effectively to still place 3rd). What a lord of a kid, seriously.

That's the spirit. You just have to be non toxic, that's really it. Think people let the gold get to them, and don't enjoy the game for what it is: A pirate game full of adventure, battles, and laughter. Hell, we lost our reaper 5 emissary after doing two FotDs one after the other, nearly lost the loot too. But we caused a literal server war, 5-6 boats all battling for our loot. And I've never had such a blast. Ended up blowing up a brig with the mega kegs after rowing all the way to Golden sands too. It's all about having fun, meeting new people, and just having a laugh.
