Great for foreign students who are studying the arts and humanities. An excellent Business School. One of the best in Canada for Business and Commerce. No faculty of Medicine or Law. Not very good for Engineering either. Where did this University get its name from?
The name comes from the official motto of Montreal is Concordia Salus ("well-being through harmony"). Also, Concordia University was formed when two different universities merged in the 1970s; hence, they came together in "Concordia" (harmony).
