⚠️Welcome to Dreamworld is much more focused on character stories and world building, but this episode has a few more raw horror elements. Viewer discretion is advised.
I am losing my absolute gourd over Hayden's confrontation with Wyatt. I LOVE that the meta aspect of this show has been acknowledged. I know Hayden's words are really fueled by his emotions, and there is another side to what Wyatt is doing, but him bringing up all the private things he filmed and shared is such a big oof. Oliver reacting to that too. Just drawing this meta aspect into perspective really surprised me. It's something that I had not thought about but I think it's really interesting to acknowledge, especially given how Wyatt's kind of been forced into this position where this is just about all he can do, and he is really clinging to the idea that filming all of this is important in the face of so much senseless horror. And you can't say that it really isn't, persay. It's also very necessary for the framing the whole story, and it can't really be separated from it. What is really getting me though is the fact that Wyatt up till now has been so unshakable with all that Sarah/Litho has thrown his way but the notion that he might not be helping much at all and just causing more harm to the people he's trying to help has clearly really shaken him and I love seeing his character challenged like this. I'm really curious to see where this leads. Poor Hayden too, it's just horribly brutal and cruel what happened to him and his friends including someone he loved and didn't get to tell...I was not expecting this but I love this development very much.
I 100% agree😭😭😭 I love how this episode shook the narrative and the tone of Welcome to Dreamworld. Wiatt to me and from a narrative standpoint looks to be at his lowest, and so is Hayden. This is what made me love Hayden so much more. 😭 it’s insane. I adore how realistic this made everything. Hayden has EVERY right to be upset with Wiatt. Even if Litho is the one toying with them all… this is what solidified him as a monster for me… because I KNOW there are people who could be just like Litho minus the demon and possessing stuff. It’s GREAT
My theory for the next episode: Wiatt will have a mental breakdown and decides the throw his camera to the garbage due to failing to save the lost souls. He quits his job and falls into rock bottom, in his nightmares he sees the lost souls of Dreamworld animatronics being tortured and tormented by Litho. Screaming in fear he breaks down into tears not knowing how to save the animatronics and his boyfriend
Now realizing from the thumbnail that Wiatt has blood on his hands and from the things that Hayden said make sense now on why that is and I find it so interesting love this episode tho 👍
Throughout this episode I was essentially just going "Oh my gosh-" "OH MY GOSH!?" "OH MY GOSH!" "Oh my gosh." But more than anything, I was just thinking "Poor Hayden :("
@@KybrieghAnthony SAME. I haven’t felt this broken since the ending of the first season… god fucking dammit… I feel so- hopeless. It PAINS me to see everyone like this… I also find it SO ironic how Wiatt has the same pose from season 1 episode 2’s thumbnail, except it’s TWISTED into something much more grim. It’s insane.
There are 2 things I'm praying to see before this ends: 1. Winnie and Wiatt sitting down and actually having a conversation (iykyk) 2. Wiatt having a breakdown. If he doesn't have one in the next episode, it won't feel right.
Wow...that was...pretty intense when Hayden just snapped and now I understand the thumbnail showing that the blood is on Wiatts hands. SMART!...BTW YAY SILVIA GOT HER CAMEO!!!🎉
I literally notified when this would be live but I ended up realizing that it was too late but when those two staff members died it took me a minute to process what just happened, I love this series.
the Bibble monologue and “I’m gonna stop recording” would have been a killer cliffhanger for the episode, I appreciate the extra bits at the end though and the voices went OFF here
20:00 I like how he’s self-aware enough to stop recording that, but not self-aware enough to not edit that into the video, or not to make the video at all
We gotta get that delicious content somehow ^^ if we didn’t include the scene and it all happened off screen, it would’ve been kinda boring :P plus the videos included can sometimes be leaks lol
Rainbott why?! We were all talking in the premiere's comment section about hoping no one dies, but you killed them. You killed all three of them how could you?!
This episode gave me an existential crisis. and had me reevaluating my World Views Hayden's right but I love Wyatt😭 Winnie is the best winged opossum ever as usual!! I know this 23:22 was going to happen I predicted it a year ago!
This has to be the most intense episodes yet (also watching oliver clock Sarah in the face has to be one of the most satisfying moments in the series-)
Post episode 3… holy fucking shit. This was one of the most if not the most brutal episode I’ve ever seen. This might be the most realistic episode I’ve seen. Hayden is rightfully upset with Wiatt. Even if Wiatt has his reasons for investigating what he does… I’d love to know more of the reasons. Also Winnie with the thing about his granddaughter… then the information that Sara killed at least three people before getting possessed, Norman being one of them and Lewis being another. The way everything just spiraled out of control feels so tragic. Also the ending with Morris and Astra finding Hayden passed out was somewhat bittersweet, I hope they can try to help him. I also hope Wiatt will be okay. I hope he meets Hazel and they get more of the truth. And perhaps we learn more about Wiatt as a result of this.
I hope they help him too. He really needs some friends who can understand what he’s going through. And I hope him and Wiatt can come to understand each other and change for the better. This episode… I think it broke me. Bug Eric is cute tho. At least he’s okay.
@@IMGOINGTOCRYSJSJJSHA I agree! It’s gonna be one hell of a ride. I hope Wiatt and Hayden can learn to understand one another more too. Also yeah… this episode fucking broke me as well. I didn’t expect them to betray this situation in such a realistic light. Hayden has every given right to be pissed off at Wiatt… though… the real monster is Litho. Sympathetic motivations, or sympathetic reasons or not, Litho is a monster. He found such joy in toying with Wiatt and therefore toying with everyone else around him as well, treating it like a game.
@@bella_daze3092 yeah, me either!! Every episode before this was mostly silly with a little bit of dread, and this one… just changed everything. I think it’s very nice, though! I’m excited to see this series take a darker direction.
@@IMGOINGTOCRYSJSJJSHA I agree! Seeing it get REAL hurts but is SO worth it. Because you as a viewer in a sense mourn for the loss of what can never be brought back
UHHHHHHHH I hate to admit it, but Hayden has a point Wyatt has more than enough evidence of all of this and yet they keep recording and how mean more people have to diy before there’s enough evidence to get dream world gets shut done
There’s an in-universe reason why the facility hasn’t been shut down, despite how many reports have been filed with video evidence 👀 Alas, we must wait until next episode…
So, Winnie mentioned that Sara killed three people not under Litho’s possession (or six if you count her bullies) and we know that two of those are Lewis and Norman, but not the third person yet. I think the third person is the ‘original’ Wiatt, who’s with me?
For all those asking what I mean by original Wiatt, Litho implied that Wiatt died before he transitioned, therefore making the Wiatt we follow through the series either an imposter or someone/thing possessed by his soul after he died
Honestly, Hayden's rant just left me wondering... what's even the point of all this? We have more than enough proof that Sara is behind everything, up to and including her outright admitting to being pure evil, and yet the police still won't arrest her. We know more about how the animatronics were given souls, but still no clue how to fix them. It's like Hayden said, all these videos have accomplished is getting people killed.

Now I feel bad that I’m watching these… I always assumed Wyatt got consent to post the more intimate parts of this… Hayden, Oliver, Damian, everyone… I’m sorry.
Can we talk about the Star themed Phantom of the Opera poster in the theater? I freaking love that. PLEASE tell me there is a Ghost in the Machine poster in the movie theater!
Carly mentioned a soul named Ridley when saying Eric was missing, from what she said it sounds like they are a second soul in Ribbon Dancer's body along with Ribbon Dancer, I've never heard of or seen anyone named Ridley, so is it someone new or am I reading into this to much (First time I watched it I thought it was just a nickname for Ribbon Dancer but Carly says 'Ribbon dancer AND Ridley' so idk at this point)
Ridley is the piece of Eric's soul that broke off and gained sentience and Ridley was just referred to as ribbon dancer up until last episode where we learned he has an actual name now Hopefully that made sense I'm very bad at explaining things😅
sooo new animatronic cricket aye? can we get more info on them like there name and stuff? edit: fuck i just realized it isn't a cricket and its a mantis XD
I have a theory you know how wiatt always has his camera and in s2 ep2 litho told owen that wiatt died before he became a guy so what if wiatts soul is in his camera and he always has it with because if he doesn't he could die (maybe again?)
New theory (spoilers for this episode): Since we know Hayden watches Wiatt's videos, that means he knows about Rainbott's channel. I wonder if that means he has also watched Loop SMP. I wonder who his favorite character would be. Probably Bibble. Also, in this universe, did Rain stop making Loop SMP episodes after Winnie got to them and they started working at Dreamworld? What arc did they stop at?
16:25 wait… apologies if I am wrong but could she not just wash the blood out instead of letting it dry… I don’t believe it would take a short time for it to dry off… I don’t know-
Ugh! I hate that Litho is one step ahead of everyone else! Now Pen and Lisa are dead! Hayden is losing it! Now Wiatt is consumed with guilt that he's barely done anything but record! Can anything else go wrong?!
The start of the episode: Norman walking away, proceeds to stand behind the door stuck in a walking position for 5 seconds. (ik it's an animatic btw i just thought it was kinda funny)
dear rainbott, i have an den dea fir a welcome to dreamworld spin off series callled dreamworld tapes. it will follows a guy working in dreamworld entertainment as he discovers that the robots are alive and possesed. when he wants to tell the world this, litho captures and inprison him in an animatronic called black star. now he must escape the facility and tell the world the secrets he found. this series would be a much more darker and scarier version of the welcome to dreamworld series and it would be a great thing that i would love to see. please rainbott if you see this comment, make the dreamworld tapes a real series. please please please❤
🫵👁👁💕 I love Marble Hornets! It was one of my biggest inspirations when writing this project, so I’m super glad that someone else recognizes the similar themes! :D
Thank you, I was referring to the fight scene between Wyatt and the other character. It reminded me of the fight scene between Tom and J from Marble Hornets
I love the jestar caracter, his voice reminds me of tails the focks. I used to have a tails doll I would dip in juice and use like a straw. My paremts hated it and when thet tiook it away I cried to hard I threw uop
