True story. Came to Alabama after I retired from the military and got a corporate job working side by side Cheryl, Clarence Carter daughter! I found out he was blind (I didn’t know that) and get this: his wife was/is blind too! They had 8 children, I think and raised all of them without help. You know I had a thousand questions about raising 8 kids and being blind(from birth) but she made it seem normal, with adjustments, of course! Fascinating life, indeed!
Your best reaction yet. As a fifty eight year old British guy I absolutely loved this. Lot of us British have never heard of dear old Clarence. So catchy and your reaction was pure gold to watch.
I Like Mel, she has such a great sense of humor and really open. Shawn is lucky. She just seems like a really fun good natured human. From comedy, to sexually charged content, or even racial humor, different kinds of music etc, just whatever. Did you see her big smile light up at the "I be strokin!" Ha
I was on deployment in Afghanistan - one slow day the topic of discussion was "What's the nastiest song ever" some of my troops laughingly asked me what "Grandpa" (I was 52 at the time) thought. Played Stroking for them- and they about died- and declared it the winner with the "my stuff ain't tight enough you can stick it in my" line
I remember weekend nights out at the club and just about every lady in the club line dancing to this song. We loved it rocked. It had its own line dance. What a cool song from back in the day. We had the best music.
This song is so funny i love it.. Sadly yes he is blind. its a very old song but very entertaining. Loved your reaction the shock on your faces was priceless. love from Memphis Tn.
LOL. I remember when this came out, only a few stations played this, and then only late at night. I was waiting for your reaction. Clarence Carter was the real deal. Two other great one's by him if you haven't reacted yet are " Slip Away" and " I can't Leave Your Love Alone", and they are clean, lol. I would also love to see you guys react to Jackie Ross " Selfish One", all from the fabulous 60's
There was a "Cleaner Version" that was actually played on Radio, but I think even that one was a late night play for the DJ's. He had another hit called "Slip Away" and "Patches". Both great songs. He was another Stax Records artist from the old Memphis Soul days with Otis Redding, early Issac Hayes, Booker T and the MG's and Rufus Thomas. Solid Gold stuff.
True story: There was a country line dance to this in the mid 90s😂😂😂 #DallasBullTampaFL If that IS a replica of a wenis, it needs some penicillin😅 As always- fun reaction guys!!! Stay safe & love much💖
Met the PO a few times in the backseat of a car a couple times, they alway let me keep going. I used to play this at strip club in Oceanside, CA in my early 20’s
30 odd ish year ago i used to go raving at the astoria tottenham court road and they always played this and the place went mad, dunno why but it went down well, pardon the pun
And he also said stroke it to the north stroke it to the south he stroked it everywhere and he even struck it with his he didn't say it but he meant his mouth. LOL
Here is a great video of the line dance: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-PPaohHVHhGw.html This was played at every club and even wedding receptions. People ages 5 to 95 were learning the dance!
