When I first seen these sort of vids I thought I was going to be impressed but then reality hit me, the is no boys in da hood lol, and I’m now an adult, it’s like a way of life that shouldn’t be happening anymore, like hippies In 60s, they had their day
@@trulatinosoulja8307 these dudes are gansters , they flip big CARTEL brick's, you're crazy bro if you think they ain't got feria on the low. They aren't like these fruity people buying designer everything, they paying bills bro.
Random dude drives by honks the horn " yeah they see us, we out here, they know us" . I'm bout to order a burrito real quick" now Ima eat this burrito " lmao
If somebody got a camera in your face you probably mute up....... and if you a gangster all you can talk about is mundane stuff on camera..... you see no guns, drugs money, sex talk, street racing, gambling , none of that.... they also gotta get permission to come on the set and somebody monitoring what they saying...... I ain't defending by anymeans..... just saying
This is where me and my homies held Hands for the first time This is where me and my homies kissed under the moonlight you feeeeell meeeee Gardenaaaaaa
@@joshuadarrington. you are a 100% correct.......buuuuuuut....let's be real...its hard to be logical....we talking gangbanging. I did it and I was very active but I smartened up.
Gangs used to be “cool” back in the day, but thanks to today’s internet it just shows how ridiculous they are. They don’t even know what to talk about. There comes a time where you just have to grow out of it and make a life for yourself.
Not the diversity we were looking for, they’re supposed to be holding hands around a campfire in a movie scene singing “We are the world” but at least they’re achieving diversity 😂
it's really funny to me how so many people like me when I was a teenager always thought being a gangster was the coolest thing ever and when you grow up you realize how stupid and cringe this whole gangsta shit really is.
Some people like these foos are grown adults and still think being gangster is cool lol Stay outta jail, make money and live a good life, thats GANGSTER.
It’s sad how they saw what they’re future can potentially bring. Just 2 old farts standing in front of the liquor store drinking with nothing else to do.
japanese been in gardena since the military took over terminal island which used to be called furasato. that whole community moved back from internment to nothing and built all those temples in gardena.
@@umbrellacorporationwuhanfa3731 I’m 33 and been on legit disability for last 8 months and been fishing haha I rather do that and spend time with family and friends than work
@@drowskiii490 he must be a person with common sense. If ypu grew up in the hood and do what everyone is doing. You're a follower and doing what the system wants.
Chino Scars bro them dudes weren’t even old enough to know what was common sense when they were growing up, this was their life for them, this would be the common to their sense
"Baby Locos, Infant Locos, Tiny Locos, Little Locos, Small Locos, Short Locos, Mini Locos, Petite Locos, Miniature Locos, Fun size Locos, Portable Locos, Microscopic Locos"
I feel mixed about this. As someone who grew up in the hood and seen brothers cousins and homies dying ending up on drugs or locked up I always say it’s not worth it. But most of them were born and raised into it and it’s easier said then done to get out of it. But ppl who CHOOSE this lifestyle even coming from a good bring up I think are stupid asf. If u really from the hood u want out
The only thing I’ve seen with people in that lifestyle past their teens and proven in this video is they are too lazy to put in an honest days work, supporting your family, contributing positively to society, living life not wasting it like these so called “cholos”.
It's great that these generous, productive members of society took a day off from their high-paying careers to show you around their neighborhood and showcase their meaningful, leisure activities.
Yet you clicked on this video. The whole point of this channel is people showing their neighborhoods/communities and the history thats within them. Hence the name “hood vlogs”.
People that havent grown up. Your intelligence is measured by those you surround yourself with. Surround yourself with idiots and you seal your own fate!
Oh my God that movie is so funny. When the dude pulls out the guns and he opens up the back of the truck with a sliding door and he's got like that a bomb
I grew up on Rosecrans and Crenshaw from 1987 to 1998 and I can honestly tell you back then Gardena 13 was so active and their was so many shooting and murders that took place on my block the shit was crazy and this don’t depict my city, had to grow up quick and be slick, never forget where you come from specially from humble beginnings. It’s ok to want more for your self and your loved ones. Just cuz we from the hood don’t mean that we can’t be more than just hood. Good bless all my raza from Gardena. Much love all the way from Houston
Yeah, you're about my older brother's age. I am a few years younger than him so I didn't get involved. He was G13 as a white dude, should have seen his face when he got jumped in. We lived literally throwing distance from Masfukai park. It's fucking crazy to see this place peaceful now. You couldn't even go outside then. My brother is dead in case that surprises anyone, overdose from fent. The life these shit hole places push on you leads to one place. It's fking weird to me to see this area so clean after all this time.
There are millions of Mexican families who show us your value of family and your traditions in welcoming, loving, and positive ways. We know better from them!❤ I have never been so encouraged to eat another plate or get up to dance another song than by Mexicans!
@@luisorozco4802 you know what would of been real to me? Him taking some kid off the street to pay for his or his families food at that shop It would of been more gangster seeing a random poor kid eat that burrito instead of him
The best lawnmowershop is in Gardena. My family use to buy lawnmowers at Yamada company. I have memories from there since the 80s when I was young. It has turned into little Mexico in 2022.
It’s a whole different story when you work a full time job and have responsibilities. People wouldn’t have time for all this hanging around shit worrying about other people looking at you or how high the curbs are lmao
@Jason Rivera no my dad made 30,000 a year growing up, one household income. I now make 130k a year because I chose to do better. Oh but you think white privileged is a thing......
@@v-inthe-d2457 they choose to sell drugs to get money instead of working for a couple years and starting a business. Selling drugs is obviously a gov set-up and you'll never be able to aquire asset without it being confiscated by the same feds they shill for in BLM and Antifa. They let them do all the work to get money from ppls drug addiction then the gov just swoop and harvest that. And they say white privilege is a thing I know black ppl that are just as success but they don't deal drugs to get their money they just work and invest they don't feel oppressed this brainwash is re-tarded.
@Jason Rivera lol being black is all that matters? I’m not black and I’m from one of the deadliest cities and yes my direct job every day is heavily involved in uplifting the community. Oh but I guess being black is all that matters to you Antifa and BLM terrorist.
Some dudes never leave the hood and therefore never change. I left the hood got my shit together and now I'm a business owner/ home owner. But ya keep bangin though bruh lol
I just showed my 13 year old son this video so I can show him what losers look like! And don’t even start with “they are the victims of their circumstances and surroundings!” I grew up in the hood too, eagle rock and highland park, but made a choice to do something with my life so I got an education and joined the navy. Now I live a very comfortable life, providing for my family and getting the best education money can buy for my children! Being a loser or success is a choice! So to all you little homies watching this video, I want to tell you that you have a choice! Get an education or learn a trade and get yourself out of the gutter or you’ll be doing the same old shit 20 years from now, all broke and busted!
@@Xolerys you think Highland Park and Eagle Rock are nice places?! Sure, bangers, drug dealers, and crackheads all over the place, drive byes and armed robberies every night, you couldn’t find a wall that wasn’t tagged, and …. Yes it sure was nice!!!
It was until 2014, now there's more Hispanics. You do know that Gardena was once Mexico, right. That's how you know you're an idiot. When you don't think before speaking😂
I respect how they don’t get caught up in that racist shit. That’s one thing that separates east from west. A lot of our neighborhoods on the east are black and Hispanic and we grow up TOGETHER. That racist shit is lame af. 💪🏽
so sad y'all chicanos and my fellow brothas living up to the statistics..... I'm OG af but grew out of that childish ass mindset that doesn't get you or your family no where.... wish you guys the best.
We just wasting our time. Even by us watching this fucken video. Instead we can be thinking about ways to make money or just improve ourselves we here listen to nonsense that really has no meaning to us as individuals
@@julioalmanza8090 if all you do is chase money, and do shit for money, I dont think you can ever truly be happy. Your passion is what you need to run with. The money and everything else will follow.
It’s sad how these youths are glamorising the hood life!!! Everyone I watch somat like this it makes me appreciate my life even more!!! I hope these Breds find a real goal in life!!!
Do you think the OGs that leveled up, sold kilos and caught bodies are doing interviews ? No. The ones who are willing to be on cameras are of course the ones he finds on the streets. Real old heads level up, these old heads got fucked up on dope.
they know that now.. they are just in denial. But its in their subconscious, which is why they "act hard". its a defense. Inside they are little boys hurting.
I can't imagine taking this type of thing seriously. They seem delusional. Like they're telling themselves they're protecting the hood, but they're actually just the local street thugs themselves. But they tell themselves they're doing good for the community cause they don't have much else going on.
Yeah but they will grow out of it once they get older. But you are right in general sense. However looking at it from someone from LA and knowing LA. The fact they black and brown are so cool with each other in Gardena is REEAAL big an very unheard of. Which is dumb i have to say that but reality. The other thing is that it looks like they clean their hood which again is very very very unheard of. Which is crazy because us Mexicans who are Native American and black ppl who are African both come from indigenous roots that take care of their land/water. But we learned what not to do from the British , French and Spanish Europeans. The natives in all am America’s didn’t have hepatitis , small pox and other diseases because we cleaned our areas! Now are hoods look like shhht but we will bust on you if you disrespect our hoods lol so yeah if we are to claim our hood that tough but can’t own property in your hood.... the least you can do is keep it clean and take care of the earrrrf!
@@anybodyk9358 you right but it’s where we live. How does your room look right now? Still got those hot Cheetos and moldy string cheese stuck to your carpet!
