Nooooo, don't drink the Guinness before it settles! Did nobody tackle you to the ground for trying? You made a balls of the pint. Also that story was probably about Gaelic Football or Hurling, not soccer, the goalposts seem to have uprights for scoring over the bar and between the posts. Welcome, enjoy your trip and for God sake let the pint settle, the anticipation is half the enjoyment.

Really enjoyed this Ireland video, fun to see an American appreciate even the little things over here, and definitely the Guinness! :o) The taxi driver was funny - $20 for 2 Guinness in SFO - and no way did it hold a candle to Guinness in Ireland 🇮🇪 And fun to see from your point of view how things are different here and may be a bit confusing if you’re not used to it like sayings or phrases. I’m glad you enjoyed Ireland, it is a special place :o) ☘️

P.S. I see the folks saying to let the Guinness settle but I always drink it pretty much right away because that’s when the sips are at their thickest and creamiest, almost like drinking a blob of ice cream, if you get a great pint, so - can’t go wrong :o)
