Karkala is a town within the Udupi district of Karnataka, India. It is located about 60 km from Mangalore and lies near the foothills of the Western Ghats.
It has a rich history going back hundreds of years where famous Jain Kings ruled this place. During their rule, they installed several significant structures and temples that still exist today and are worshiped by Jains from all over the world.
This is a small attempt to showcase the rich history and natural beauty of Karkala.

I'm a very proud karlaite...do visit durga parameshwari temple in kukkundoor village where i belong to. loads and lots of childhood memories which i cherish 😍

@PRABHU I visited the Laxmi Cream Parlour near Karkala Bus stand and the Gud-Bud ice-cream was delicious 🤤😋 it's a must try for people who visit Karkala.
