SLIM SNAPS is a filmmaking company based in Kampala, Uganda, dedicated to visual storytelling and uplifting the Ugandan film industry. Founded in 2018 by Ugandan filmmaker and producer Kavuma Vieri Mwanje, the company provides a platform for talented individuals to showcase their skills through film and music. SLIM SNAPS, also known as "A One Time Filmmaker Co.," released its debut film, "Why Did You Give Me 49?" on September 1, 2023. Following this release, more members joined the collective, and the independent creative company has since grown, producing high-quality films independently.
