In December 2016 a blood was killed in the Kings Villages, a couple days later in Jan 2017 at a candle light vigil for the fallen blood a 4 person shooting occurred where two bloods were also murdered. There’s been multiple shootings and murders in the area since, in October a Villa Boys gang member was actually murdered at the same area, where he was accused of murdering a blood and shooting at others two years prior. Regardless if the area is projects or not it’s still a heavy crime area and more active then most other places in LA county. And it used to be 10x worse in the 80’s and 90’s
