This is so surprising, the best sim I've ever seen... It amazes me, I never expected that level of detail! It surpasses most of the Sims available in MSFS! If not in any other Sims... Ever since I discovered that in SU11, never flown with anything else!
This level of detail and work they put into this plane is outstanding. I almost feel bad for having bought the PMDG now. And I also love your idea of the split tutorial series, can't wait for it! Thanks and much love to you guys and girls from ini
Hello Ted. Please remove remove Navigraph Navdata from your community folder - A310 - its a temporary measure while we resolve some issues. Further update to come shortly.
How it looks, how it sounds ... Absolutly awesome. To bring this Aircraft to MSFS is a truly milestone for the Simulator. Thanks for building the Aircraft and of course thanks for providing it. 👌👍
Thank you. This does bring back memories and it is indeed one of the most important moments in history. Definitely one of my favourite "Heavies" along with the 767 and MD-11. Just amazing.
So awesome horizon expects all of us!!. Thank You very much IniBuilds for bringing us such a wonderful aircraft. Will give the PMDG and FENIX some rest and learn the ins and outs of the A310. Your hard work looks all over the plane.
Actually fun fact, now I understand why this is free. The a310 is also forty years old in real life, it's first flight was in 1982 and msfs v1.0 came as well..... Well played inibuilds amazing product
Great work! I really missed the A300 and Beluga once I made the switch to MSFS, I'm looking forward to both flying this one and maybe having more wonderful modules from IniBuilds in the sim.
Please bring us an a300b4-203. But before that, we need more wear and tear on the buttons, switches etc.. Also, make the windows openable and add some sunscreens on the side windows that we can use to keep the sun out of our face
Wonderfull ... I love this Aircraft so much due to the mixture of analouge and glass cockpit :-) ... thank you very much .... I had long time ago some trips in the cockpit with my dad who flew this nice aircraft ...
Actually the Boeing 767 in service from Sept 1982 was the first 2 Engine Widebody designed as a 2 crew cockpit, with CRT Displays and Flight Management Computer (Followed shortly afterwards in Jan 83 by the 757). Technically you may be correct though it had nothing to do with the plane! The first 767/757's were introduced in the US, where the Unions required the Airlines to keep the FE position until phased out!. In the meantime they sat in a jump seat and there technical reponsibility was to monitor the overhead, which is normally done by the PNF. The first not to fly with a FE was on a 757 in 83, but not sure whether that was before the A310 did it (Or did Europe have the same issue eliminating the FE position the US did??)
Amazing work! Not only do you produce amazing products, but your trailers are next level! My ultimate trailer was the A300 for xplane 11 but you continue out do yourselves! Keep up the excellent work 🙌
FEEDBACK: - This Plane is not loading all what it should for some and is not even seen in the HANGAR as it is an issue with WASM. It has many HOTAS BINDS not work: TAXI LIGHTS; DOME LIGHT; STROBE; AUTO-THRUST; +/- SPEED... and so you must use the MOUSE instead. It's an arse for no Altitude Scroll. I am not happy they leave the UI crap like this with inconsistency. The Default Camera gets messed up after using CTRL+F6 which I shared for OpenXR Toolkit and it now zooms from a default position outside the Plane as though it got muddled with CTRL+F2 which is the actual SAVE PILOT View which does not fix it. The LOGO LIGHTS extend down and rearwards as if they are the Runoff Lights facing the wrong way. The TAXI light is a little weak but might be realistic but needs Runoff Lights to work at least. LANDING GEAR is same as Boeings with a 2-Stage opertaion for lock to watch out for but the Plane will alert you of this when Landing. AUTO-THRUST TOGO BUTTON via Mouse does not work as others. Instead it takes you through many stage Presets. It is NOT actually pressing TOGO. I did not get VS working. ZWFCG is not accepted until you have DEP/ARR plus full SID/STAR & Runways and rid DISCONTINUITIES and add COST INDEX. Else it can nag you again if done in another order. Same for COST INDEX & IRS ALIGN oddly even after being set. You must have started Engines too. Weird eh. The VHF1 VOLUME knob is OFF as Default so you will not hear ATC. Many times my CO-PILOT speaks as soon as ATC does and it can eventually fail. If you can not see what you're typing it is due to the MESSAGES at the bottom of FMC. Just keep pressing CLEAR until they go away even if already entered what it says. VS indication does not light up but it works once you press Selected.
Amazing work done on the aircraft! Just wondering, how do I see this internal cabin? I have the enhanced version installed and have tried walking out of the cockpit but come to a wall and when I try to get past the wall all I see is just the see-through x-ray of the aircraft with no interior decorations. I have also tried this with the drone cam and nothing works.
I will be the first to chant and those who're with me pressed like: WE WANT MORE! WE WANT MORE! WE WANT MORE! 😍😍😍 Amazing work lads and lasses, you can be really proud! Also the sounds... goose bumps! As someone with an aunt who worked for Airbus in Hamburg and now has a company that does all the electronics (including programming) for Airbus (WM Tech Aviation), this makes me proud. 😎👍
For me thus is the first study level long haul airliner i can use to fly cargo ops. Been a Boeing driver all my life: level-d 767, pmd md11 and 744. I think i will have to convert to the Airbus philosophy if i want to start flying long haul in msfs. FS2Crew, are you looking this way?
Everything about this is amazing! Any chance the cabin will be added to Xbox with lowered textures/less screens? Maybe a big screen in the middle like on the XP11 version?
Dear xbox players, being your first high fidelity aircraft (probably), please learn this plane and the procedures of airliners. It's a load of fun as a PC player and having experienced the PMDG 737 and FBW A32NX.
People will wax poetic about the strangest things. I was in the flying workforce when these planes first did their labors, and let me tell you, they sucked donkey balls. They were tremendously unreliable, they resulted in numerous missed meetings, screwed up meetings, cancelled flights, you name it. One 330 blew it's hydraulics lines on the right wing which hurled the entire contents of the hydraulic system on the taxiway, and forced a panic stop in the brakes (default behavior when no fluid). Resulted in the most severe stop on a plane i've ever experienced. We had to be towed back to gate and of course that was another late arrival, missed birthday, etc. Maybe it was 'innovative' but I started avoiding Continental because this plane was heavily used out of EWR.
I feel like the physics of the plane are broken or it’s just my joystick. I really love the interior and the cockpit as well as the sounds and the exterior model but I don’t like the handling of this aircraft. It reacts to fast, it almost feels like the B747 physics in MSFS.
@Henrik Thanks for letting me know. I use an xbox controller and to quickstart all aircraft is usually just RB and D-PAD Right. I wish it were a little simpler for those of us who aren't fussed about explicit proceedural detail is all.
Can you make a modern longhaul airliner since every one else is taking years and years and we're 3 years in and there's not a single good long haul airliner.
The Enhanced version is not available on Xbox as we want everyone to have the best possible experience on all platforms taking into account the user environment and creating a seamless product on the Xbox platform.
There is not. We want everyone to have the best possible experience on all platforms taking into account the user environment and creating a seamless product on the Xbox platform.
It's all good. but on XBOX, everything is not so good. I ask you to at least improve the textures of the entire cockpit. The dashboard doesn't look bad, but what surrounds it isn't so good. And there is no salon with chairs at all. Very sorry. We believe that everything will be fixed and everything will be fine.
