I feel like using caine’s role as the ringmaster could be an interesting thing to explore in an au like this, I could see him going insane due to being able to create all these worlds, seemingly having control over his life, but also being aware that there is an entire human world out there for him to explore. But since he is an ai without a corporeal form his “freedom” only extends to the boundaries of his circus

The latest episode of Digital Circus as of the writing of this comment implies that the "adventure worlds" seen in the series are more-or-less functionally the same as Dark Worlds in Deltarune, so these Deltarune x Digital Circus seem even more fitting now.

The animation for Caine is awesome. It gives the chaotic vibe of “This being isn’t human, this being is ‘silly’ but not in a fun and relieving way but more in a random lol internet stressful scream in your face way, also they’re your new god now.” Okay maybe the animation didn’t convey the last part but it’s still really cool. I especially like when he (or it, or she who knows) becomes a balloon.
