Omg i never thought that kpop band or kpop artist Will do a cover of my chemical romance. It brings so much memories since i used to listen this song a lot when i was teenager.

I've never heard any songs by this group before, but as a MCR stan for 15 years... I had to click on this. And I was so surprised by how well they did it! Usually covers of welcome to the black parade are not that great, because it's such a difficult song for just one singer to sing from start to finish without losing steam. But since they switched the singer who does the lead parts, they managed to remain sounding really solid through-out.

Holy man. This is one of the hardest songs I ever had to learn on drums. And to see gunil just absolutely nail it and have fun with it is amazing. Just absolutely amazing on all parts for everyone.

as someone who grew up listening to rock music and eventually discovered kpop... this warmed my heart 🥲

It's actually impressive how Xdinary Heroes always bring their own flavour and sound to the music they cover and create, it's like they make the song their own! Besides, to sing such an iconic song definitely requires some great vocals, and these boys sure DO have them 🔥🔥🔥

as a mcr forever fan it's not easy to cover their songs and deliver a performance that is as good as the original, but xh always surpass my expectatives, they are amazing

For every emo kid arriving here not knowing about kpop/XH: Korean crowds at this type of event (a fan meeting concert) are not as loud as the typical concert crowd we're used to. Also, even if not super loud, they're louder than this video shows, because this is the official record and they silenced the audio from the public (on a fan-recorded you can hear them, but yeah, why aren't they louder is a mystery). Also, they're from the 97 to 2004, so I'm half sure most of their fans didn't know the song. They do because they're emo kids, mostly their drummer and the guitars. Btw, they are Xdinary Heroes, they're a band between kpop and krock because they're from a famous label and they promote as idols, but their music is mostly light punk-rock pop. They're amazing, super talented and have more covers from the emo era (like BMTH and NBT).

I don't even know the emotions my kpop world and rock world are crossing and I didn't know i needed them. You can tell they actually like this song and the band just based on the performance. And they brought their own flavor to it also. if they covered a Paramore, all time low, fall out boy or boyslikegirls song it would be over for me tbh.

They always pick the perfect songs to cover. They definitely did Black Parade justice. This was awesome. The energy was there! 🥲

This popped up in my recommended and I was afraid to watch it but it wouldn’t go away, so I was like, “well I’ll just listen to a bit” it’s such an iconic song that the thought of anyone else performing it was unsettling BUT….. they made me cry. I don’t know why I was just listening to this song the other day, but I had a few tears in my eyes, and I sang right along. It was sooooo well done. They kept the spirit of the song. They made it theirs without changing it too much and their pronounciation was so good there were parts I didn’t know the words to but know I do becuase they spoke it so clearly. Their fans and them have so much to be proud of. My only regret is that I waited so long to watch it!! I think even MCR would be proud of this cover it’s so well done

I guess the reason XH songs couldn't hit bigger is because they're under JYPE. The majority of JYPE fans are unfamiliar with this genre, so naturally, only a small percentage of JYPE audiences are familiar with and enjoy this genre. On the other side, I was also immediately introduced XH to my big brother who grew up with this genre, but he said, "But they are under JYPE. Pursuing this genre while promoting it in a KPOP way and to KPOP audiences is kind of not fitting." I kind of agree and think that JYPE needs to find a better strategy to market XH to the correct audiences.

If they were playing in front of a Western crowd, they wouldn't have been able to hear themselves. That ending was fucking great. That deserved so much more hype!

mcr is my favorite band of all time, and It is so hard to do a good cover of this masterpiece of a song, but omg hats off to them, this is definitely the best cover ive ever heard of this song.
