Hi Jim, a bit of a random question for you, if you are able to help. I have just been given some Caryota Mitis seeds ( which I have been told are Fishtail Palm). Do you have any experience of them and what would you recommend to give them the best chance of germination etc? Thanks for any help on this! I did try fish tail palm seeds once, they didn't germinate for me. I gave them a year on a heat mat, baggie method in spagnum moss(witch works for most palms). I put it down to bad seeds. The palm it's self is easy care house plant for winter and outside for summer 👍
@gordonissocoollike we all loose plants now and then ,to be honest all my redemption in pot's didn't make the winter. I'll just try something different this winter.
