i'm a nicu doctor . its a hard sad job , but its nice going home knowing you're helping a beautiful baby stay strong :)

Spent my first year in the Denver neonatal hospital (20 oz pre-mature). They had to wait for my lungs to fully develope. Than my parents brought me home, tried feeding me, my stomach burst, and back to the hospital it was. Most of the food went down into my bloodstream so they had to cut that open after pulling out and opening my stomach. Hard to believe 24 years later I'm still alive.

I was 1 lbs 10 ounces when I was born. I’m interested in this but they’re so fragile

Their rooms and care team are very similar to Kaiser Permanente NICU in San Diego.

I need help please. My new born baby girl is sick of two things. 1.klabesella bacterial infection 2.vsd (perimembraneous) openings She is in NICU but I need help if there is sone one please

for babies in the NICU you should not be hand sanitizing your hands you should wash your hands for 2 minutes haha.

Wash your hands
