These character designs are the best I've seen in these animatics - I prefer these to the "official" ones, thrown together before it really took off.

I am so ridiculously in love with this animatic, you don’t understand. The CHARACTER DESIGN, especially for Taako, holy shit! Merle’s arm and the way it connects to the rest of him, Taako, Magnus’s gentle giant energy, TAAKO! The expressions and the smoothness with which the scene was portrayed. I’m trying to remember if I’ve ever seen an adventure zone scene done this much justice before, it’s just So Good.

Story time: I saw this animatic before I had really even heard of taz. I might have seen it mentioned but I didnt know anything about it. I stumbled across this animatic and found it amazing, but I didnt bother listening to taz until many months later. Now im on the last few episodes of the series, and this podcast is now one of my favorite peices of media Ive experienced. The characters, the plot, the jokes, its all so good. Its an immediate classic and this animatic was a contributing factor to my discovery of the series that has become an instant favorite and classic to me. So uh, thank you.
