WelcomHeritage Ayatana Ooty | Resort Review 2024 [English] 4K 

Ayatana Ooty is roughly 6 hours from Bangalore and we need to go through Bandipur and Madumalai forest areas where we can usually spot elephants and deers. There are 2 different routes we can take to reach the resort. We took the Masinagudi route where we encountered 36 hairpin bends. The other route has fewer hair pin bends but it takes almost 2 hours more to reach the resort.
The resort is spread across 6.5 acres and has around 30 rooms. This was started in the month of March 2023. The resort is located amidst tea plantations which can be seen from numerous spots in the resort. The afternoons were pretty hot and evenings were chilly when I visited the resort in the month of February. The food was average and can be improved. The staff were polite and any service we requested was usually quick. This is a Pet friendly resort. The resort is a bit small but overall had a good experience.
