A pair of Crested Wood Partridge chicks, which hatched in mid-December, can now be seen scurrying underfoot in the Butterfly Garden. This species, native to Southeast Asia, spends most of its time seeking food and cover on the jungle floor, but at night, it roosts in trees for protection from predators.
