Would love it if you would do a little step by step beginner how to welding tutorial. I tried welding at one point and got too frustrated to continue.

What size square and what size rebar did you use?

regular speed square, not the larger one ... I believe it's 1/2" rebar but I'd go with as thick as you can get as it's more comfy on bare feet :)

I don't care what you say about being a new guy at wielding. My question is do you want to make me a ladder? We have the same type school bus. Give me a price?

I'm flattered, Rev! Sounds fun ... but there are two problems: 1) getting the dang thing to you once I'm done, and 2) the exact fit of the ladder, which is persnickity and needs to be form-fit to the bus ... hmm

metaspencer UPS will deliver anything and money can be exchanged via PayPal. When I said we have the same bus I was serious. My wife and I own a 2001 Bluebird All American Rear Engine. I was thinking placing it close to the body of the bus and on the passenger side by the engine side. Or maybe a 2 piece. On the back but able to come apart when I need to go in the engine compartment.

sounds excellent and fun ... my bus is a front engine/flat nosed, so I'm guessing there will be some subtle spec differences
