I got that square tubing a while back and some sheet steel so I wanted a welding table I think it'll be fine but it might be a tad tall. I do think it will be strong enough for what I need.
actually I should have made it a bit shorter, I need to sit down to work very long and it's a bit tall, I am thinking about shortening it about 6 inches.
actually it's about too big for the space I have.. yeah, it's a bear trying to work like that but I don't want to drag an oxygen hose around and besides it might not be the safest thing to use O2 while welding.. lol
Young whipper snapper like you shouldnt be throwing steel like that, thats a great table. How much do you pay for a piece of steel that size, here a 2 by 2 piece of 1/4 inch i think is 70 bucks, gone to the dogs
it was a challenge,, I gave 75. 00 for it, and the frame metal was 3.00 a stick which was about 7 feet long,, I figured that was a pretty good price for that steel.
